Camp Freddy Plays Surrender on Jay Leno

The band Camp Freddy was on Jay Leno on October 5th and finally a video of the performance has been added to Billy Morrison’s blog. It’s always good to see the guys out and about playing live and this time they played a cover of Cheap Trick’s ‘Surrender’. Their version of the song is in the movie ‘Employee of the Month’ starring Jessica Simpson and Dane Cook.
Dave Navarro couldn’t make it to the gig so Slash and Cheap Trick’s Rick Nielsen sat in on guitar. Other Camp Freddy Members include Billy Morrison, Matt Sorum, Scott Weiland, Donovan Leitch and Chris Chaney.
According to Camp Freddy’s website, the promotional video for ‘Employee of the Month’ featuring ‘Surrender’ by Camp Freddy was the most watched video on YouTube on October 6th:
