The Duhks’ “Heaven’s My Home” and the Dixie Chicks’ “Not Ready To Make Nice” have both received Grammy Award nominations for Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal category.
This is very interesting indeed. I say this because a few months ago I discovered the Canadian band The Duhks, as I mentioned here before, and immediately liked what I was hearing. They’re pretty new on the scene and are one of the most exciting bands in their genre. With Jessee Havey’s voice and their Soul-Grass-Country sound there’s no stopping them.
Other Grammy nominees in the Best Country Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal category include Rascal Flatts, Little Big Town, and The Wreckers.
It will be interesting to see who wins.
The 49th Annual Grammy Awards will take place Feb. 11 on CBS
