Imagine This by Tom Braxton

A native of the dusty plains of West Texas, Tom Braxton contributes his unpredictable success to his father, who has a love of life and jazz. "I have to credit my dad with connecting me to jazz at an early age. I have clear memories of music flowing through the air from my parents' bedroom. He put the alto sax in my hands in the 6th grade, after I had been playing piano for two years. At the age of 87, he still plays his tenor sax and violin everyday, and he's still gigging!"

Tom Braxton has shared the stage with such artists as Luther Vandross, Philip Bailey, Kirk Whalum, Jonathan Butler, Jeff Golub, George Duke and Paul Brown. He has appeared on the CBS Morning Show, B.E.T's Jazz Central, TBS, TNT, ESPN, CNN and more. Additionally, Braxton has toured extensively with Tisdale for over a decade.

Over the past several years, Tom Braxton has produced four successful records on his own. In 2004, Braxton and long-time friend Wayman Tisdale teamed up for a project. After some very creative and fun moments in the studio, Bounce was given life and a CD was born to rave reviews. Smooth Jazz Vibes would declare that "Braxton is clearly destined for major solo success."

In 2007, Tom Braxton joined forces with the growing Pacific Coast Jazz record label and is gearing up for a summer tour with a new release. "The title of the CD, Imagine This, has a lot of personal meaning to me. It is a positive statement that all things are possible and dreams can come true," said Braxton.
