He’s sold 125 million albums worldwide, won a Grammy and a Golden Globe and performed for millions around the world. But Neil Diamond has never had a US #1 album - until now.
‘Home Before Dark’, Neil Diamond’s latest album went straight into the top of US Billboard chart this week and he looks set to repeat the feat here in the UK on Sunday.
Incredibly it’s his first #1 album on both sides of the Atlantic.
‘Home Before Dark’ follows Diamond’s previous highest-charting debut and first collaboration with producer Rick Rubin, 2005’s 12 Songs.
Diamond will be performing new songs and classic hits during his highly anticipated 2008 UK tour which includes a stop off at Glastonbury Festival.
