The international sensation – DJ Disciple is finally here and set to take the UK by storm!
Launching at the Miami Music Conference where the track first earned its spurs via the underground route, DJ Disciple will be releasing his club hit “Work It Out” in the UK on the 2nd June 2008, accompanied with a colossal new package which includes mixes from Mischa Daniels, Klaas, Whelan & Di Scala and more.
Tipped to be the summer dance smash hit of 2008 the track has already created a stir with B-List support from Radio 1 and a long list of internationally acclaimed DJs, which includes Axwell, Seamus Haji, Robbie Rivera, and Freemasons, all behind the record. A Cool Cuts Chart #1 (14/03) and Buzz Chart #1 (21/03) set the scene perfectly for an all out assault on Miami, where Disciple played at four separate events throughout the week, including the Radio One pool party, ensuring the track was thoroughly rinsed.
“Work It Out” is the debut single from the UK’s hottest new label House Trained (Universal). Set to become a major music force this year, House-Trained was founded in 2004 as a small club night with a big personality and their “no shit on the floor” strapline. With its no-nonsense approach to its music policy, the label began building its reputation moving between a number of the capital’s best kept secret underground spots, thus providing the perfect platform on which to start releasing records. Backed by a huge promotional push for artist and label alike, the official label launch party took place in London’s newly renovated club The Island and was a great success, with a live set from the man of the moment, DJ Disciple who flew in from New York to headline the event.
NYC’s international star DJ Disciple, aka David Banks, first broke the circuit playing at New York’s underground parties – the Choice and Wild Pitch. Since then, DJ Disciple has become a DJ phenomenon. With a legendary UK profile working in more clubs than any American DJ before, and playing “around The World In 150 Clubs”, he has created a strong international fanbase amongst DJs and clubbers alike that extends far and beyond the US.
Unquestionably one of the biggest club anthems to tear up dancefloors from the UK and Miami to Ibiza, “Work It Out” sets an impressive benchmark for all future label activity. Fast becoming the biggest hit in clubland with a futuristic gym work out video set to bolster the cause in the run up to release the DJ Disciple phenomenon is about to swamp the UK!
