Coosh Headphones review – innovative gift idea + watch test video

When the Coosh Headphones arrived in the mail, I was pretty excited to see what they were all about. After all, they were sent as a sample and I was in the market for some new headphones. They came in a fairly large box, surprising for such a small item – and how interesting that one of the ear buds was wrapped around a large realistic looking ear, which is now prominently displayed in my living room.

The lightweight Coosh headphones are being marketed as headsets that stay on and don’t hurt, as their tagline makes clear: ‘STAYS ON. FEELS GOOD!’. There’s a video demo of b-boy (bboying/breakdancing) group Massive Monkees testing them out – demonstrating that the headphones stay on even when dancing, doing flips, handstands and twists.
The Coosh site has a warning under the video: “These tests have been performed by one of the best and experienced breakdance crews in the world so please, please, please, don’t try this at home, in the street, on your rooftop or on your dad’s car!”
I’m not the hippest person when it comes to these kinds of gadgets, as I rarely use them when away from the computer, so I don’t think they have anything to worry about with me trying any of the breakdancing moves whilst wearing their Coosh product.
Getting the earphones on was a bit of a challenge at first – and they seemed to stay on okay. Every now and then, though, I do find myself adjusting the left headphone, but I think that’s just me getting used to how they’re supposed to wrap around the ear and my hair is getting in the way a bit. Other than that, they sound great and are very comfortable. They would make for an innovative gift idea for someone who’s on the go a lot and loves their music.

If the headphones will remain even on dancing, and twist then I will definitely buy it for my brother. He likes such kinds of gadgets. Music lovers will surely like this gift.
