I saw Leonard Cohen and his extraordinary band live in Sydney last night and I'm still coming down from the high.

The crowd was so appreciative (a standing ovation as he took the stage before he'd sung a note) that I'm sure many would be happy to simply applaud all night (and some of them did) but even those thoroughly familiar with his repertoire were transfixed by the man delivering it live.

A true master of his craft and yes, transplendent!

I totally agree. I was also at the O2 on Friday. Amazing how someone can spread such warmth in such a vast, cold venue.
