Introducing : Pleasure Mob

Pleasure Mob

Pleasure Mob. A rasping, swirling, vibrant and visceral music formed 12 months in the making. The band's intrinsic energy has reached boiling point.

Vocalist/Guitarist Douglas Hall and Drummer Nathan Von Bastard have known each other as long as they have known music. They have experimented with a plethora of sounds, instruments and genres to mature into the now gritty roaring rock, soul and dance cadence of Pleasure Mob.

The arrival of bassist Damyan D'amour served to act as a catalyst to the now intense and powerful direction the band are taking. The formulas of generic rock and pop have been used, abused, cut, pasted and pounded into a potent and striking new shape. Expect vociferous soul vocals, broken tumultuous bass and guitar, commandingly held by dynamic driven beats. The live show will leave you feeling like you've just done two hours at Fitness first.

Let no qualm be made, Pleasure Mob are serious. London's notorious expectations will be satisfied. Experience the sound of what is to come. Pleasure Mob.

Although a new band, Pleasure Mob have gained considerable popularity through their MySpace page getting over 40k visits and 22k mp3 plays to date.

The band has been very active in searching out friends and supports as well as receiving editorial support from radio stations and blogs.
