Hot Chip announce first North American tour dates to support new album 'One Life Stand'

Tracklist for 'One Life Stand' also announced

To herald the release of their new album One Life Stand, Hot Chip will be bringing their explosive live show back to North America in April.

The band will be playing tracks from new album as well as old favorites. The xx will be the band's special guests on this tour.

Hot Chip have become legendary for their unequivocally exuberant live performances, helping them to become one of the world's most original and loveable artists. As with their sold-out tour last September, the band will once again feature a live drummer on these dates adding an extra dimension to their already exhilarating shows.

Tickets will be on sale for the public on November 23, 2009 for the following dates.

April 16 - Oakland, CA - Fox Theater
April 19 - Chicago, IL - Riviera Theatre
April 20 - Toronto, ON - Koolhaus
April 22 - New York, NY - Terminal 5
April 24 - Washington, DC - 9:30 Club

As previously announced, One Life Stand will be released on February 9, 2010.
