Caeser Pink & The Imperial Orgy - All God's Children CD on Discovery space shuttle

Caeser Pink & The Imperial Orgy: From Underground To Outer Space

Caeser Pink & The Imperial Orgy

On Monday April 5, 2010, the rock band Caeser Pink & The Imperial Orgy blasted into outer space when Stephanie Wilson, an astronaut aboard the Discovery space shuttle took the group's All God's Children CD into orbit for the listening pleasures of the international space station.

The seven-member crew aboard Discovery is on a 13-day mission carrying supplies and science equipment for the space station.

The CD's title track "All God's Children" carries a message of unity, and speaks against prejudice, hate, and violence caused by religious intolerance.

The CD was banned from many radio stations because of the controversial content of the lyrics. WVOF Radio of Fairfield, CT stated that the CD was the most requested in the history of the station, but still refused to play the music. In response to a fan's email request, station manager Tricia Galinat said, "Our head music director is Jewish so we will never play that CD."

In a recent interview Caeser Pink talked about the song. "I worked at ground zero before and after 9/11. At the time all the pop singers were writing heartbreak ballads, and the country singers were singing 'America's gonna kick your ass' songs, All God's Children was my response to the terrorist attacks."

Another track on the CD, "Mickey Mouse World", speaks against corporate consolidation of mass media, and the use of the media to dumb-down American culture.

Caeser Pink and The Imperial Orgy and their ever-evolving musical collective are music industry outsiders who run their own independent record label, produce their own cable TV series, and manage their own non-profit organization the Arete Living Arts Foundation.
