Breakthrough new group Cali Swag District kicked off last weekend's BET Awards with a bang. The group performed their infectious, hit single "Teach Me How To Dougie" at the 106 and Park pre show which aired live on BET.
This was a prelude to their performance on the mega-popular Fuel TV show, The Daily Habit which airs July 2nd.

Cali Swag District have created massive internet buzz and "Teach Me How To Dougie" has sparked a nationwide dance craze thanks to their viral video which had over 1 million hits on YouTube before even being signed.
The dance floor-filler that the New York Times hailed as "stark, aerobic, and infectious," "Teach Me How to Dougie," has taken Cali Swag District to the next level.
The group is currently performing in front of thousands across the country thanks to its emerging airplay and breaking top 10 at urban radio.
The single remains in rotation at Power 106 in Los Angeles - prompting the station to invite the group to perform at their massively successful "Power House" concert headlined by Snoop, Drake and Trey Songz.
The official video premiered May 23rd to a huge audience on MTV Jams, MTVU and MTV2's Suckerfree Sunday.
Since then, the video was named "Jam of The Week" by MTV Jams and entered the top 10 countdown on BET's 106 and Park shortly after.
Comprised of 19 year old rappers C Smoove, Yung, Jayare and dancer M Bone hailing from the streets of Inglewood, Cali Swag District started as a Los Angeles underground youth phenomenon but in only a matter of months, they've become rising stars on a national level.
