New additions to Chazzstock Festival

The Charlatans front man Tim Burgess has been confirmed as a headliner for the one-day Wolverhampton event Chazzstock on Sunday 10th June 2012.

The hotly tipped Frankie & The Heartstrings and Spector have also been confirmed to play at this charity show.

The one-day event at Wolverhampton Civic Hall is raising money for The Prince's Trust and other local charities in memory of midland's born Ou Est Le Swimming Pool front man Charles Haddon, who sadly committed suicide at Pukkelpop Festival in 2010.

Tickets are selling fast, so for the chance to see some of the UK's biggest indie bands play together outside of the capital, book your tickets through the following sites priced at 25 GBP: seetickets.com / gigsandtours.com / gigantic.com / wolvescivic.co.uk

The Vaccines, who are playing a full headline set at the event, have issued this statement on the festival and their dear friend Charlie:

"I'm proud to announce our participation in a brand new festival this summer called Chazzstock. Chazzstock is a non-profit festival set up for charity in name and memory of my dear late friend Charlie Haddon. It was a long held ambition of Charlie's to put on his own festival, as always he was rarely concerned with anything but the enjoyment of others and with the combined efforts of his friends and family we are going to see that dream materialise this summer. Thank you, and we hope to see you there." - Freddie Cowan, The Vaccines
