Those who contributed to the process - echoing and enhancing the song's call for unity and action - were rewarded with an early look at the resulting clip, directed by James Frost (Radiohead, OK Go), before it premiered on Vevo.
"Mercy", the first single from Dave Matthews Band's forthcoming album, Away From The World, topped the Triple A radio charts for two consecutive weeks and is available now at all digital retailers.

Dave Matthews Band - Mercy video:
Scheduled for release on September 11, 2012 by RCA Records, Away From The World was hailed by Rolling Stone as the band's "Strongest album in years." Billboard praised it as "sometimes heart-rending, often seismic, always ambitious… [Matthews] showcases some of his most stirring, vulnerable vocals and lyrics to date."
The group recorded Away From The World in Seattle with Steve Lillywhite, who produced its first three records - Under The Table and Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets. The upcoming album is the follow-up to 2009's Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King, which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200, making Dave Matthews Band one of only two groups in chart history to have five consecutive studio albums enter atop the chart.
The group has sold a collective 37 million CDs and DVDs combined. The Away From The World pre-order is underway on the iTunes Store and at Dave's website.
