London based 4-piece Butterflies On Strings release their A Boy Named Crow E.P today, September 7th through The Kaleidoscope Label.
A Boy Named Crow is the latest studio E.P. from Butterflies On Strings and their eagerly awaited follow up to 2011's Live From London Bridge.
The five tracks on A Boy Named Crow were self produced by Butterflies On Strings, engineered by Adam Lunn of Resident Studios, and mixed and mastered by Brendon Harding at Red Bull Studios London.
The latest recordings mark a depth of maturity and beauty that has resulted from exploring the environs of four members of similar suburban origin. Lyrics decrying nostalgia, the transience of time and subsequent decay of memories and relationships are romantically explored through hard?driving anthems ("Too Much Fruit"), sparse pop ("Sweet Years") and lush balladry ("A Boy Named Crow").
