The Sweet Passion, the tenth studio album from charming Tokyo rock 'n roll hellions the Zoobombs, was released September 20 through MB3 Records.
Originally available in their native Japan on June 6, The Sweet Passion is the Zoobombs first full length since 2007's B*B*B.
In support of the album, the Zoobombs have embarked on an extensive North American tour after a successful stint in Australia.
The Sweet Passion was recorded in Oakland, California with producer Greg Ashley (Gris Gris) as well as in Japan. Japan Times hails the album as "a great sonic journey full of lava lamp- and black-light-worthy anthems."

The Zoobombs, dreamed into existence by conductor/guitarist Don Matsuo in 1994, effortlessly harnesses the raw energy of psychedelic rock and garage punk with a soulfulness firmly grounded in the blues. Instead of a signature sound, the Zoobombs are known for constantly evolving, experimenting with funk, hip hop, and a fearless attitude. Their extraordinary live and setlist-free shows have secured a devoted and cultish following around the world.
