December has been quite a whirlwind for teen artist Payton Rae, with a red carpet, a fashion industry event and a successful charity fundraiser all occurring within days of each other this month:

Payton attended the ACA Awards in Las Vegas on Monday, December 10, and had the privilege of walking the red carpet at that event. The teen star wore an ALYCE Paris gown for the Awards show and red carpet; Payton represents that company's 2013 spring prom line.

Then it was on to NYC where Payton performed at an industry-only fashion show for major online dress retailer PromGirl. The 17-year old kicked off the "Stay Calm and Think Prom" event with a performance that featured songs from her debut EP, Dare To Live, and her current single "Stomp The Fire Out."

With her partnership with ALYCE Paris, Payton will begin appearing in print ads in major teen magazines in January; she is also featured in the design company's Spring 2013 catalog, and her image is being used on banners at retail locations across the country.

Payton, in conjunction with band 3union, was able to provide gifts for children in need, thanks to the continuing success of the "Two Is Better Than One" holiday fundraiser that they developed. Due to the generosity of fans, funds were raised so that children in Indianapolis (Shepherd Community Center) Houston (Houston Children's Charity) and Nashville (the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt) will receive gifts this month.

Payton's website has a fresh new look - and is sporting a new logo, as well!

"This December is definitely going to be one that I'll remember," said Payton. "I had the privilege of doing so many different things: walking the red carpet at the ACA's in Las Vegas, singing at the PromGirl fashion show in New York City, working with a few charities for the holiday season, and writing new music. I have never had such a busy month, but honestly, that's how I like it. I am so honored and blessed to have had all of these amazing opportunities. We ended 2012 with a bang!"

The teen performer returns to the studio in January to begin recording her next project, scheduled for release in 2013.

Payton Rae's career is growing by leaps and bounds, with powerful social media stats that include over 13 MILLION YouTube views and a tremendous following at Twitter and Facebook that includes fans from all over the world. Payton was recently selected as one of the Top 100 "Artists on the Verge" for The New Music Seminar (NMS) - the only country artist on the list. The five songs on her debut EP, Dare To Live, were recorded in Nashville; Dare To Live boasts the talents of many well-known songwriters from the Music City community.

"If Carrie Underwood took applications for a little sister, we think Payton Rae would be the perfect candidate." - Teen
