Oxford, UK based duo Purple May have announced their debut EP ‘Where Are We Going?’ released on December 2, 2013.

The self-released 5 track EP will be available on iTunes and Amazon.

Purple May members Dave Tomlinson (vocals/guitar/harmonica) and Jenny May (vocals) recorded ‘Where Are We Going?’ with Nick Moorbath at Evolution Studios in Oxford.

“We had heard great things about Nick, so we decided to venture outside of the home studio environment to record the new EP.” says Jenny May.

Adds Tomlinson, “We have found in the past that recording in environments which are out of our usual comfort zone help to create a much more colourful version of what we would have produced in our home studio. As for playing live we are enjoying the process of experiencing our songs growing and the sound improving as we become more confident with our new tunes through various live situations.”

Collaborating together on musical projects for over ten years, Tomlinson and May formed Purple May in early 2013. Their music is a blend of tight vocal harmonies, insightful songwriting and infectious melodies.

‘Where Are We Going?’ tracklist:

1. Junk Status
2. Infinity
3. Same Old Song
