"Reaching #3* after 28 weeks, 'Again' has been Flyleaf's biggest hit at Modern Rock radio to date," said Ben Berkman, EVP/Head of Promotion at A&M/Octone Records. "It has also been one of their most enduring as well, reaching this position after a steady eight month build. Furthermore, the track navigated one of the most competitive fourth quarters in the last 10 years, outlasting records from over a dozen established Gold & Platinum artists. 'Again' is a bona fide hit!"

The band, which just wrapped up a trek with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin, will launch a sold-out U.K. tour on March 22nd, which includes a show at London's Islington Academy on April 1st.

Flyleaf will then return to the States for a series of festival appearances and a headlining tour that will kick off on May 4th.

Fair to Midland and Ten Years will open on the tour.

A ticket pre-sale will begin on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 3 p.m. local time at http://tixx1.artistarena.com/flyleaf.
Based in Belton, Texas, the quintet has been touring nearly non-stop since the September 2005 release of its self-titled debut album, which spent 133 weeks on The Billboard 200 and contained the hits "I'm So Sick," "Fully Alive" and the RIAA Platinum smash "All Around Me."

Recorded with Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects), Memento Mori was hailed by The New York Times as "muscular and alluring" while Entertainment Weekly called it "galvanizing." "Break Your Knees," a track that appeared on the expanded edition of Memento Mori, was tapped for Healing 4 Haiti, a benefit compilation that was released last week on the iTunes Store.

The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Dirty Shirt Rock N Roll: The First Ten Years

Album released 24th May 2010 on SHOVE RECORDS

Full back catalogue reissue plans throughout 2010

On stage and in the studio, Jon Spencer has destroyed and rebuilt American roots music with such ferocity and wild abandon that it's hard to believe there is anything left.

The trail of musical destruction Spencer created with his legendary group Pussy Galore still smoulders in the avant punk blues and nasty garage grind of The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion, whose incredible, innovative output remains an indelible totem to his enormous mojo spirit and red-hot power of deliverance.

It's been eighteen years since The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion first pressed 'record', eighteen years since Spencer and his A-Team of sonic terrorists (Judah Bauer, guitar, and Russel Simmins, drums) tore up the indie-rock landscape with fever and a visceral, untouchable vision of rock 'n' roll that did for a new wave of blues-punk primitivists what Helen of Troy's face did for the armada.

But make no mistake: Jon Spencer was there first. He is the original. It was his sanctified outbursts and blues-bending riffs that began the new-fangled roots rock revolution and spawned countless imitators. With Pussy Galore he gargled with the Stones and Stooges and wrestled with industrial noise and fuzzed-out f***ed-up sixties garage crud... with Blues Explosion he drove furiously into the future with incendiary spirit built from courage, audacity, and revolt. Nothing has been the same since.

SHOVE is proud to celebrate the legacy and legend of The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion with a stellar set of seven new-and-expanded, spectacularly remastered, and all-together mind-expanding, deluxe, CDs, beginning with the much-anticipated compilation Dirty Shirt Rock N Roll: The First Ten Years, a handpicked selection of prime cuts and barbed-wire excess from the first decade of JSBX, beginning with their first gutter-born scuzzabilly assaults, and traversing through studio masterpieces like Orange, Acme, and Now I Got Worry.

Indeed, the first Blues Explosion outings were lo-fi and raw; gutter rock 'n' roll steeped in Sun Studio exorcisms, New York street-punk and no-wave pranksterism, with Spencer playing his famous $17 guitar throughout. But The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion refused to make the same record twice, as this compilation attests. From untamed, sleazy hi-jinks and brain-teasing sonic alchemy, to rock 'n' roll fundamentalism, and depth-defyin, ass-shaking grooves, this is the no-holds-barred story of a band who grew through increasing commercial and critical success, studio craft, innovation, and dazzling artistry, but without sacrificing the filth and blunt-force assault from which they sprang.

Each of these new releases feature the original albums in astonishing sonic splendor and include rare and unreleased bonus tracks, copious liner notes, and eye-popping photos. All titles will also be available digitally.

These shall be released two reissues at a time in late June, late August then late October.

Radio Silence is the sound of a band fully comfortable in their unique sonic skin. And if an album is simply a snapshot of a work in progress, then this is a perfect portrait, capturing Cowley and his co-conspirators in the right place at the right time. This is the record that he has been working towards, documenting the magical empathy of a unit, who, with thousands of hours under their belt have learnt to breathe and listen as one.

Described by Cowley as music for the 'heart and feet', Radio Silence shifts effortlessly between moments of poetic grace, rip-roaring riffs and Chaplinesque ditties that reminds us that for all his many influences, Cowley's music is as British as 'Test Match Special', warm beer or a bacon sarnie.

After all, it is Cowley who played the elegiac intro to Adele's London hymn "Hometown Glory" and likewise, his own music is just as rooted in where he comes from. This is music born in London pubs, on stage at Glastonbury, in suburban side streets and the banter of the tour bus, with results that are as enthralling, heart-warming and gripping as the very best in contemporary music.

Take for instance, the gorgeous title track which invokes the sudden and stark realisation, that someone you love is no longer close to you. It is a deceptively simple but highly effecting tune propelled by the bands intuitive group interplay and conjures moments of sheer beauty.

Elsewhere, Gerald is an affectionate portrait of a geeky friend and part-time guitarist who likes to "wig-out" at the weekend, while the epic, blissful Portal expresses a child-like sense of wonder before the cosmos. Vice Skating is a lyrical tour-de-force and the raucous Hug the Greyhound is partly inspired not only by the impossibility of such an act, but is also a wry nod at his own manic energy levels, and it is this restless drive that pushes the Neil Cowley Trio towards greatness.

"Their most cohesive offering to date ... dynamic ... seismic... and delicately lyrical... EST on steroids with the attitude of Motorhead" - Record Collector

Iggy & The Stooges – Artist Testimonials

The first thing that you notice about Raw Power is the album cover. I first saw it staring at me from a record store shelf in bonnie Scotland in the mid 70's and my first thoughts were that some psychopath had landed himself a record deal. Even in the glam rock '70s this looked outlandish and made other glam acts seem like mere show business. Iggy looked like he might want to tear your face off, but all I knew was that I wanted to buy this record. Raw Power was like a road sign in my life when I heard it I knew what I wanted to do. I wanted to be like Iggy. It's impossible to overemphasise how influential this record, and for that matter any record by The Stooges, was to me and many others who formed bands.
JIM REID (Jesus & Mary Chain)

I played a benefit show with Iggy in 2009. He rocked the place to the ground and scared the living shit out of a bunch of us supposedly 'bad ass' rockers. He screamed 'play it right this time, C**KSUCKER!!' at the drummer, kicked his number one fan in the balls, and tore around the stage in an awesomely violent manner. Dudes from Rage, Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, and the MC5 cowered like small children at the rear of the stage terrified we might fall victim next. When I got a little overconfident and took a tentative step forward- Iggy grabbed me, pulled me to the front of the stage and repeatedly screamed in my face, 'PLAY!!!' I thought I WAS playing but I turned it up a notch. Then he kissed me, did a freaky dance, and yelled 'I LOVE YOU!!'. For me it was an all time career highlight.
TOM MORELLO

Iggy is the godfather of Punk Rock. He represents what we all aspire to be in Rock & Roll. Iggy Pop's influence is what helps us take it one step further.

The band who has had three consecutive #1 albums in their native UK and have played sold out shows throughout the US will also soon announce tour dates in North America for this coming Spring.

Night Train features eight powerful new tracks which were written and recorded during the band's Perfect Symmetry world tour that saw them playing to packed arenas in 28 countries.

The album takes its title from the band's favourite mode of transportation during the tour, and includes Keane's genre-busting collaborations with Somali/Canadian rapper K'Naan, "Stop For A Minute" and "Looking Back".

"I think these tracks show us in a completely different light." says Keane frontman Tom Chaplin.

Other highlights include "Ishin Denshin (You've Got To Help Yourself)", which features Japanese MC Tigarah, as well as the gorgeous "Your Love", which hangs around a rare lead vocal from the band's Ivor Novello-winning songwriter Tim Rice-Oxley.

Keane, who are Tom Chaplin, Richard Hughes, and Tim Rice-Oxley; together they have sold close to 10 million albums copies of their albums Hopes And Fears (2004), Under The Iron Sea (2006) and Perfect Symmetry (2008). They have played sold-out arena tours, and were the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. With songs such as "Is It Any Wonder?", "Everybody's Changing", "Crystal Ball" and "Somewhere Only We Know", Keane is one of Britain's best-loved bands and will surprise and thrill their fans all over again.

Forward-thinkers Wild Palms, newly signed to One Little Indian, continue to strike while the iron is hot, announcing the release of their 2nd single "Deep Dive" on 17th May, 2010 backed with an intriguing take on Bjork's "Human Behaviour".

The new single is the first fruit from studio sessions with Gareth Jones (Grizzly Bear, Clinic, Interpol, Wire, Depeche Mode) with whom the band have been working with on their debut album, slated for a September release.

Speaking to NME at the start of February, singer Lou Hill signalled the shape of things to come, "The stuff we are writing now is a complete departure from anything scratchy or angular - it's warm and it's expansive."

Saluting Can, New FADs, Beefheart, ACR, Sonic Youth, TV On The Radio, Radiohead, MBV, Liquid Liquid, New Order and Talking Heads, Wild Palms continue an ethos that runs through from Neu! to Factory to Flowered Up, carrying with them a rough-edged charm that in no small part comes from roguishly charismatic 23 year old front man, Lou Hill.

In existence little more than a year and having just played their first London headline in February at White Heat, this new release coincides with a growing buzz on the band whose startling "Over Time" debut single released late last year served notice of original minds at work.

Gary Numan announces rare UK live performance exclusively with The Playground at London's Scala on Tuesday 13th April 2010

Pioneering electronic punk Gary Numan is set to play at the Scala in London on the 13th April 2010 as a warm-up show before his forthcoming appearance at the Coachella Festival in California, along with West Coast dates in LA and San Francisco.

Currently recording his new album Splinter, Numan recently broke all records at the BBC when 1.3 million viewers watched his collaboration with Little Boots for BBC 6 Music via the interactive 'red button'.

In addition to selling over 10 million albums, Numan is one of the most covered and remixed artists of the last three decades.

A roll call of the musicians who have performed or sampled his songs is virtually a who's-who of British and American music from the last 20 years. They include Damon Albarn (Blur), Jack White (Dead Weather), Afrika Bambaataa, Jarvis Cocker (Pulp), The Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Sugababes, Basement Jaxx, Smashing Pumpkins, St Etienne, GZA (Wu-Tang Clan), Armand Van Helden and DJ Hell.

The likes of Kurt Cobain, Devo, Goldfrapp, The Killers and Tricky have also namechecked him as an influence in the past which is a trend that is continuing with a new generation of artists such as La Roux, Late Of The Pier and Santagold.

As the NME now declares: "Numan's influence on electronic music is unparalleled."

So it is with great pleasure The Playground hosts this special intimate evening with Gary Numan performing out live for the public in London for the first time in 5 years.

Tickets are on sale now via www.ticketground.co.uk.

Also, be on the look out for news of a special DJ set by Gary Numan and Ade Fenton for The Playground on the 8th May, 2010.

Releases New Single "Fast Forward (FFWD)"

Both tracks will appear on the Barbardian star's major label debut, Can I, due out this summer featuring credits from STARGATE (Beyonce, Rihanna), the Stereotypes (Ne-Yo, Mary J. Blige), Claude Kelly (Miley Cyrus, Britney Spears) and many more industry heavyweights.

"My lane," he grins, "is wide open. This is something that I have been trying to do for years, to break out internationally. I built a fanbase back in Barbados so it's a good feeling to take to the States and the rest of the world now."

Soon, the rest of the world will know that very good feeling, too.

Get swept away by Jaicko's intoxicating island brew on "Fast Forward (FFWD)" and sing along with the new lyric video:
