Following the sensational sold-out performance at London’s Royal Albert Hall last September, the multi-million pound live concert tour ABBA The Show will return to the UK on 14th October, 2008 to launch the UK leg of its World Tour 2008.

Read – ABBA The Show Review

Stopping in 8 cities across the UK, the tour starts at the Newcastle Metro Arena on Tuesday 14th October, 2008 followed by Sheffield, Aberdeen, Glasgow, Liverpool, London Wembley Arena and Brighton, closing at the Birmingham NIA, before heading on to Europe, Asia and America.

ABBA The Show centres around 4 singers, collectively known as Waterloo, who look, dance, and sound EXACTLY the same as Bjorn, Benny, Agnetha and Frida. Add to this a truly staggering production which includes a full orchestra, musicians from Abba’s original 1970’s line-up, huge video screens and hundreds of thousands of pounds-worth of lighting, and you have what even the official fan club has described as “Absolutely the best ABBA since ABBA”.

Last year’s London Royal Albert Hall show was attended by a diverse and very vocal audience including retro girls-night-out parties, Eurovision Dancing Queens and guys and girls of all ages with a passion for one of the most enduring pop bands of all time. To get an idea of just how impressive the singing is check out this link:

Watch ABBA The Show video

With the Mamma Mia film launch, which took place in London July 1st, 2008, public and media interest in Abba is at an all-time high. But those looking to get close to the band and their story on the Big Screen will find they can get closer still by attending ABBA The Show on the Big Stage!

Flying Music presents a brand new production of Thriller LIVE as the show tours the UK for the third time this spring celebrating the 25th anniversary year of the Michael Jackson’s – and the world’s – biggest selling album: THRILLER. The new UK tour starts March 27th, 2008.

Created by renowned Michael Jackson biographer Adrian Grant, Thriller LIVE is a full budget mega-show that takes the audience on a journey through the music of the World’s Greatest Entertainer.

“What a Thriller” – Heat

In 2008 the critical and commercial hit production sees not only a brand new 43-date tour with even more amazing choreography, dancers, an amazing band and production but also a swathe of other Thriller related activity including:

* 28th January single “The Girl Is Mine” remix by Will.i.am

* 10th February Grammy Award for Thriller (details tbc)

With choreography from Michael Jackson’s own live show team (LaVelle Smith Jnr.) the mix of dancing, lights and sound is nothing short of spectacular.

Since it’s launch last year Thriller LIVE has toured the UK twice and has been featured on TV and press ranging from Blue Peter to Heat magazine. It is now fully endorsed by Michael Jackson’s record company SonyBMG as a part of the Thriller album 25th Anniversary.

“A visually and vocally spectacular show” – Daily Express

Following the success of the spring dates of Thriller Live, the multimedia stage and video spectacular celebrating Michael Jackson’s amazing career, Flying Music and Key Concerts announced that the show returns for the month of September for a series of special dates.

This amazing show, featuring a West End cast of performers including singers, dancers, choir and live band will celebrate the King Of Pop like never before!

With dazzling choreography (from MTV award winner, LaVelle Smith Jnr – credits include Janet Jackson’s Rhythm Nation Tour, Beyonce’s American and UK tours, Rolling Stones Steel Wheels Tour and more) and brilliant vocal performances, Michael Jackson’s classic songs and videos are brought to life on stage in a spectacular and sensational way.

The UK tour, which started on September 5th, 2007 with five shows at the Palace Theatre in Manchester, features over two-hours of hit songs including “Thriller”, “I Want You Back”, “I’ll Be There”, “Blame It On The Boogie”, “Can You Feel It”, “Rock With You”, “She’s Out Of My Life”, “Billie Jean”, “Earth Song” and many more.

The production, conceived by Adrian Grant, who himself has a long association with Michael Jackson, having published the best selling Jackson biographies, Michael Jackson – The Visual Documentary, and Making History (both Omnibus Press) has been over 15 years in the making, from a tribute show in 1991 to a West End spectacular in 2006. Indeed, the cast of THRILLER LIVE took to the stage at last year’s World Music Awards at Earls Court, where they performed to Thriller itself.

“The lighting – wonderful. The choreography – dazzling. The multimedia – tremendous. The atmosphere – electrifying” – Liverpoolconfidential.com
