Produced by Tom Schick (Norah Jones, Ryan Adams, Rufus Wainright) and Sam Kassirer (Josh Ritter, Erin McKeown), ‘The Bear’ finds the band – Kellogg, Kit “Goose” Karlson and Brian “Boots” Factor unveiling their rawest and most definitive album to date.

The twelve songs on ‘The Bear’ each tell heartfelt, deeply honest stories of the highs and lows of life with lyrical finesse and wrapped in explosive touches of soulful classic rock.

The trio also brought in some special guests who lent their time and talents to the creation of The Bear: Canadian stand out Serena Ryder on “See Yourself”, Josh Ritter on “All Part of the Show”, label mates The Alternate Routes and Whiskeytown alumnus Mike Daly.

Stephen Kellogg formed The Sixers in Northampton, MA in 2003. They went on to release four records including 2007’s Glassjaw Boxer which was named one of the “Top Five Records of the Year” by USA Today critic Brian Mansfield.

As relentless road warriors, The Sixers are closing in on their 1000th show and are hailed by their growing legion of fans for their exceptional live performances and skilled showmanship. The band will kick off their national tour this fall and will be joined by Sam Getz, the newest member of The Sixers.

Acclaimed singer songwriter Josh Ritter returns to the UK for the first time since his incredibly intimate acoustic show at the Barnabus Chapel in London last year.

Josh is heading out on a short tour consisting of three headline performances and eight shows in the UK’s most prestigious music halls as a special guest to Ray LaMontagne.

Josh will be showcasing tracks from his highly anticipated new studio album set for release on Mercury Records early next year, which is the follow-up to his critically acclaimed 2007 LP ‘The Historical Conquests Of Josh Ritter’.

The band will kick off the tour at the South by Southwest Music Festival in Austin, TX, then head up the east coast to play a very special CD release show on March 31, 2009 at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City.

Josh Ritter has announced that he will play at the incredibly intimate St. Barnabas Chapel in Central London on Tuesday 1st April, 2008.

The candle lit affair will showcase tracks from Josh’s glorious current album ‘The Historical Conquests Of Josh Ritter’ including new single “Empty Hearts” released March 31st.

The 100-capacity venue will hold host to a handful of hardcore fans, TV and press. Performing acoustically, this special one-off performance will nestle in between Josh’s current UK tour that concludes on the 5th April, and then on to his US tour.

The Idaho musician wowed crowds at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire and scored rave reviews for his LP ‘The Historic Conquests of Josh Ritter’, which The Guardian hailed as one of the ultimate LPs of last year.

Josh Ritter had a successful year last year. A cult stateside hit, the singer/songwriter scored rave reviews for his live shows and wonderful album ‘The Historic Conquests of Josh Ritter’, which The Guardian hailed as one of the ultimate LPs of last year.

Now, the Idaho musician has announced his first UK live dates of 2008. Following a sold-out tour of Canada, the shows will feature a night at London’s Bloomsbury Ballroom (March 31st).

As if that wasn’t good enough, Josh will record a live session for Radio 2, which will be broadcast on the Bob Harris show, February 2nd.

His new single “Empty Hearts” is set for release March 24th, 2008 in the UK.
