I've always thought that just before (and/or after) that particular performance that 'something' must have been going on between them. I'm a singer and even I know that you can't fake that kind of chemistry up on stage.

Of course there are other versions of "Help Me Make It Through The Night", which was written by Kris Kristofferson. Most people are probably familiar with the version by the late Sammi Smith from 1971. She's the one who made the song famous with a #1 country hit, and in turn became famous herself because of it.
