Attracting a whole lotta love with 'Butter', Hudson Mohawke has been courted all over the press from The Guardian to the Sunday Times, gracing the covers of Cookie Scene in Japan and Scottish title The Skinny amongst features in many other worldwide publications.

Hud Mo has received huge support at Radio 1, receiving album of the month on Radio 1 Scotland Vic Galloway's show as well as being heralded 'the future of pop' by Zane Lowe and receiving airplay love from Rob da Bank, Mary Anne Hobbs, Annie Mac, Gilles Peterson, Benji B; even stepping up to the plate for Pete Tong's mammoth 2 hour Essential Mix, a mix which has since seen the blogosphere go wild.

So it's on this platform that Hudson embarks on his first full UK 'Pegasus Rising' tour where he will be playing key shows at the old Factory HQ, FAC251 The Factory in Manchester as well as the Detonate indoor festival in Nottingham and will be kick starting May bank holiday by celebrating Dummy magazine's birthday at the Macbeth.

Anyone who has seen Hudson recently will know that his live show promises a joyride through the most cutting edge genres led by one of the new masters of the scene.

Accompanying him on the road will be theatrical ringmaster and host Olivier Daysoul who contributed his vocal talents to the album including the anthemic "Joy Fantastic" and the swingbeat infused "I Just Decided", and Hepcat Radio originator miss Mamiko Motto on several of the dates.

If you can't wait til April, Hudson will also play A Taste of Sonar on March 6th and also support Phoenix (fresh from picking up their Grammy award) on March 30th, both at the Roundhouse, London.

Following a series of his own live dates, Example has met his match and is about to join the UK's mouthiest and biggest female superstar Lily Allen as the headline support on her UK tour.

The 17-date UK tour kicks off in Sheffield on 16th November, 2009 and runs through to 17th December at London's Brixton Academy.

Example burst onto the scene earlier this year with the release of the demonic club track "Hooligans" and went onto to dominate the summer with the smash hit "Watch The Sun Come Up" leading The Guardian to label him 'a brilliant pop tinged superstar in the making'.

Live, Example's energy is limitless and his show is a no holds barred performance - his raps are razor sharp and his newfound love of all things pop comes through with killer choruses in tracks like the single "Watch The Sun Come Up" and the Calvin Harris produced "Time Machine".

The Maccabees ace new single, "Can You Give It", is out this week, and comes backed with a brass band rendition of the song as a b-side on 7-inch.

"We had to do some B-sides," says Orlando Weeks, the band's lead singer told The Guardian.

In advance of their amazing new 'Frozen Hearts' EP and Glastonbury performance, bewitching acoustic duo The Smoke Fairies have landed a great support slot with The Dead Weather at tomorrow's (June 24) sold out Forum show in London!

This is in addition to Radio 1 airplay from Rob Da Bank this week, and a BBC session which saw them net yet another famous fan in The Kinks' Ray Davies.

The mighty Maccabees are about to return.

They've finished work on their new album and, as a taster, are giving away a blinding new track hot from the studio.

"No Kind Words" will be available to download from www.themaccabees.co.uk following its debut play on Zane Lowe's Radio 1 show on Monday 9th February, 2009 at 7.30pm.

The five-piece play their first live dates of 2009 with two club shows in London in February and an Xfm Presents at the Barfly on 5th March prior to their headline tour. They will play London's Electric Ballroom, their first London headline since the triumphant sold-out Roundhouse show at the end of the Colour It In tour in 2007.

Radio 1 DJ Daniel P Carter announces his own stage at this year's Hard Rock Hell II Festival at Pontins, Prestatyn, and N. Wales on December 5th, 2008.

The Daniel P Carter stage promises to showcase the best new rock music around with sets from six up and coming new acts all of which are currently being championed by the DJ on his Radio 1 show. The stage will also be sponsored by Metal Hammer magazine.

Acts confirmed to appear include Canadian band The Cancer Bats, Textures, Johnny Truant, The Ghost of a Thousand and new Visible Noize Records signings The Plight and Cry for Silence.

Hard Rock Hell booker Seven Webster also of 7pm management said "I spoke to Daniel at last year's event and we spoke about him getting more involved with the festival so it is great to have him hosting his own stage and introducing a fresh edge to this year's event with acts like the Cancer Bats, Textures and The Plight."

Other Acts playing this year's event include Black Label Society, Thin Lizzy, Hawkwind, Clutch and The Wildhearts. Hard Rock Hell also picked up the award for best Rock Festival of '07 at the Golden Gods Awards after its first year proved to be such a massive success.
