Madina Lake is an American band formed in Chicago. The band consists of lead vocalist Nathan Leone and his twin, bassist and backing vocalist Matthew Leone, guitarist and backup vocalist Mateo Camargo and drummer Dan Torelli.

They worked with esteemed producer David Bendeth (Paramore) on the eagerly-anticipated ‘Attics to Eden’, the experimental follow-up to their 2007 Roadrunner Records debut ‘From Them, Through Us, to You’. The band also spent two months with Bendeth — within the platinum plaque-lined walls of his House Of Loud Studios, planted smack dab in the desolate thick of Elmwood Park, New Jersey – where completing the record was ultimately humbling. That’s because crafting and tracking what would become their sophomore full-length was an experience tantamount to rock and roll boot camp, according to bassist and backing vocalist Matthew Leone.

The Red Bull Bedroom Jam band featured during the webcast this time round will be the winning band picked from the MySpace competition that has been running for the past few weeks. Watch this space to find out who the lucky winners are!

During the live show Red Bull Bedroom Jam are also giving 10 lucky people the chance to attend the My Passion album launch party, which will take place on 18th May 2009 at Red Bull’s HQ’s in London where you will see My Passion take the stage. My Passion returned this year to launch the first RBBJ webcast of the season and will also be headlining at Red Bull Bedroom Jam X Crawl.

The prize includes an exclusive invitation to the event for you and a mate, the chance to meet the band plus a limited edition My Passion / Red Bull Bedroom Jam T-Shirt.

Forever Wednesday are renowned for writing some of the biggest and catchiest new sounds, taking you through a happy yet emotional journey which always leaves you wanting more. Their sound can only be described as unique and powerful, while retaining the key ingredients to satisfy everyone’s needs.

Their self-titled debut EP, produced by Jason Wilcock (Fightstar, You Me at 6 and Ghost of a thousand) is one not to be missed. Residing in Farnham (south of London) Forever Wednesday came together in February ‘06. Already then they knew they had the potential to create something special. The release of ‘Pray for a Slow Dance’ has generated interest from within the music industry and positive feedback from fans all around the world.

Forever Wednesday are set to record their brand new EP at Long Wave Studios with Romesh Dodangoda (Funeral for a Friend, Glassjaw, Kids in Glass Houses) in March 2009. It’s clear that 2009 will cement Forever Wednesday’s ever-growing fan base and their position as one of the best new up and coming bands.

Next up, the Red Bull Bedroom Jam tour bus heads west to Worcester – home of apples, beef, sauce and, of course, Dan Scotty.

Described by some as “a one man electronic emo machine”, 19-year-old Dan Scotty comes to us fresh off the road from his first UK tour, where he got busy turning rock shows into dance parties.

Dan has earned himself a large fanbase thanks to his infectious live shows, and boasts an impressive 300,00 hits on his Myspace page.

Red Bull Bedroom Jam is returning in 2009 larger than ever.

Kicking off on Monday 23 February 2009 at 5:00pm will see My Passion streamed live from their hotel room on tour as well as a very special guest being interviewed in the studio.

Season 2 sees Red Bull Bedroom Jam move out of the bedroom and onto the stage. This exciting development will see the creation of an Under 18 festival platform for many of our previous artists to perform at events such as The Camden Crawl and Underage Festival.

Season 3 runs from 14th September to 30th November, culminating in the grand finale of the year which will be a live tour of the UK in a specially kitted out tour bus by the ‘lighthouse’ bands of the Bedroom Jam scheme.

A key feature of 2009’s innovations will be the transformation of the Bedroom Jam live stream gig into a fully fledged interactive ‘TV show’ style experience.

Featuring exclusive behind the scenes interviews and chat with established artists, Red Bull Bedroom Jam will be the most exciting playground for unsigned bands, fans and music interested teens this year.

Red Bull Bedroom Jam’s aim is to provide a live musical outlet for young bands and musicians, aged 19 years or younger. It is the first online platform ever to combine a user generated video music content jukebox with a LIVE peer-to-peer streaming facility.

Bands and artists upload their videos to www.redbullbedroomjam.com and then users vote for their favourite video. The most popular video gets selected for a live-streamed performance directly from their bedrooms.

On broadcast day, the Red Bull Bedroom Jam crew collect the musicians and selected mates and fans, and the winners rock out in front of the camera.

After the brilliant performance last time by the boys from Bognor, next up on Red Bull Bedroom Jam are DissolvedIn. Formed in 2006, this exciting Reading based quartet create a pop/punk sound with an unique hint of electro. They put on up-beat and energetic live shows with great confidence.

Together the band have had press coverage in national and international rock magazines, and wide label interest including major label showcases. They have already performed live shows with bands such as Fightstar, Saosin, Attack Attack!, The Computers, Killerpilze, We Are The Ocean and Tonight is Goodbye.

DissolvedIn released their Debut EP ‘Proudly Dressed’ in April 2008, which includes songs such as “Egocentric”. The band is currently touring through the UK, just remember you heard them live on-line at Red Bull Bedroom Jam!

What is Red Bull Bedroom Jam?

Red Bull Bedroom Jam aims to give wings to new musical talent, of any genre, aged 19 years or younger. Every week the Red Bull Bedroom Jam panel of experts choose one band to be the focus of a LIVE webcast. Then, with the help of local young promoters, Red Bull produced marketing materials are distributed around the local area in order to raise awareness ready for show time!

How do artists or viewers get involved?

Artists and musicians can register and upload a music video or live performance at: www.redbullbedroomjam.com. Once moderated, the content appears in the ‘Watch and Rate’ section of the website. Bands can then ask their mates and fans to watch the content and rate it. There is no registration process to rate tracks but there is an optional newsletter sign up so viewers can be alerted when bands are selected for LIVE performances.

Out of the bedroom and onto the stage, Red Bull Bedroom Jam is proud to be creating the Liverpool Sound City’s only venue for 2008 that will be open to under 18’s. Expect to see some of the UK’s most talented young bands from both the Red Bull Bedroom Jam network and the Liverpool Sound City’s esteemed roster.

The venue will be Heebie Jeebies on Seel Street in Liverpool and will feature 7 bands Friday, 30th May 2008 from 3-9pm. The line up will include The Wombats, Dykeenies, Cheeky Cheeky and the Nosebleeds and many more.

The event if free to all those under 18’s. For those under 18 and unable to get Liverpool Sound City tickets Red Bull will be running a special guest list for access to the Red Bull Bedroom Jam venue.

Red Bull Bedroom Jam launched in September 2007 with a live gig online by Kerrang award nominees, youmeatsix. This has been followed by several performances from other young bands (Furthest Drive Home, Linchpin, The Press, Area 15, Saving Aimee, Lyrikal Squad, Lil Rascals and Maverik), from around the UK. In 2008 it is growing to host 3 series of 8 shows, and of course grow from the bedroom to the world.

The Bedroom Jam site is also a place to discover new talent, so users can submit their votes on which bands they rate are the best.
