A self-taught guitarist who combines blues & soul with a nod to Bonnie Raitt, the 26 year-old stateside hit plays 5 nationwide shows, including Camden's Roundhouse, March 5th, 2008.

Having toured America as special guest to Ray LaMontagne, The Fray, Chris Isaak and Tori Amos, Brandi is a talented artist in her own right.

Produced by legendary Grammy Award winner - T Bone Burnett (Counting Crows, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss), Brandi's forthcoming LP, released in the UK April 21st on Sony BMG, is already making waves in the US and looks set to be one of the ultimate discoveries of 2008.

A sonic soundscape of honest vocals, organic sounds and arresting delivery, it's a back-to-basics album that majestically blends raw music with real talent. After a recent cancellation of Sold Out shows at the Roundhouse in London due to illness, luckily Morrissey has a few good things to look forward to.

His new single, "That's How People Grow Up", is due for release Monday 4th February, 2008 in the UK, his Greatest Hits compilation is out February 11th, and his new studio album is scheduled for release in the autumn.

"Morrissey's concerts scheduled for Saturday and Sunday night at The Roundhouse have been postponed due to illness. The iconic artist lost his voice last night 5 songs in to the fourth night of a run of six sold out shows at the legendary venue. He has been ordered by doctors to rest for four days. The sold out UK tour is scheduled to continue in Doncaster on Wednesday night. All ticket holders to the Roundhouse dates should retain their tickets and an announcement will be made this week.

All ticket holders will be contacted directly where possible.

Information regarding rescheduling or refunding will be carried on GigsAndTours.com as soon as available."

"MORRISSEY ROUNHOUSE SHOWS UNABLE TO BE RESCHEDULED

The organizers regret to announce that it has not been possible to reschedule Morrissey's 3 postponed January shows at the Roundhouse. The original 6 night run was completely sold out and the three shows that did take place were historic.

The Artiste and Promoters tried strenuously to reschedule the three shows but it proved impossible.

We would like to extend our apologies to all of Morrissey's loyal fans over this unavoidable situation

Ticket holders for the abandoned Friday 25th Jan show will be automatically refunded to patrons Credit Debit /Cards

Ticket holders for the cancelled Saturday 26th Jan and Sunday 27th Jan shows should return their unused tickets to point of purchase for a refund.

Season tickets holders will receive a 50% refund of the cost of the six day ticket to reflect the three missing shows.

Once again the Artiste and Promoters would like to apologise all disappointed fans of Morrissey at this outcome."

Spotted at an open mic night in London's Ginglik, Beth Rowley is one-to-watch.

Mentored by Carleen Anderson and signed to Blue Thumb Records, the 26 year-old singer/songwriter releases her euphoric new single "Oh My Life" on March 10th, 2008 - the first single from her debut LP 'Little Dreamer', May 5th.

Currently on a residency at London's Cherry Jam, Beth Rowley is special guest to both Tom Baxter (Shepherd's Bush Empire, January 31st) and Newton Faulkner (Roundhouse, March 6th).

One of two new songs to be included on the Greatest Hits collection, "That's How People Grow Up" was recorded in Houston, Texas with Jerry Finn, producer of 2004's widely acclaimed No. 2 album 'You Are The Quarry'. Morrissey is currently working with Finn on his new studio album, the follow-up to 2006's No. 1 'Ringleader Of The Tormentors'. The new LP is scheduled for an Autumn 2008 release.

"That's How People Grow Up" will be made available on CD and two 7" vinyls, backed with live versions of "The Last Of The Famous International Playboys" (Morrissey's 3rd single), "The Boy With The Thorn In His Side" (by The Smiths) and "Why Don't You Find Out For Yourself" all recorded on the recent North American tour. A live version of "That's How People Grow Up" will be available as a digital exclusive.
