Los Angeles rockers The Bronx (“highly recommended” – BandWeblogs.com) are ringing in what is shaping up to be a banner 2009 in style, with the cover of the current issue of Outburn Magazine on stands now and their recent release, The Bronx (III), grabbing a slot on MySpace Music’s ‘50 Albums You Should Know From 2008′ list.

The album also nabbed the #3 and #5 spots on Rock Sound and Kerrang’s year-end lists, respectively, while a huge two-page live shot from The Bronx’s packed CMJ showcase in New York City graces the opening pages of Spin magazine’s January issue Soundcheck section.

Additionally, The Bronx are now confirmed to tape a performance on FUEL TV’s “The Daily Habit” February 6th, 2009 (air date TBD) while their song “Knifeman” has been selected to appear in the upcoming “Grand Theft Auto IV,” which will be released next month.

The Bronx (III) was released November 11, 2008 on White Drugs/Original Signal.

Acclaimed LA based hard rock band The Bronx have been selected by the Warped Tour and Myspace to be the first featured artist for their ‘Download of the Week’ promotion on Myspace’s main music page.

Through this Sunday, June 29th, 2008 fans can download a FREE new song from their forthcoming studio album ‘The Bronx (III)’. The featured track, “Knifeman,” continues the band’s tradition of creating blistering, white-hot rock that kicks you in the loins to make you move, and slaps you in the head to make you think.

Look for the band’s new studio album in early September 2008.

This summer marks The Bronx’s first-ever appearance on the Van’s Warped Tour, which began last week in Pomona, CA and ends on August 19th, 2008.
