After playing an electrifying sold-out show at London’s Scala earlier this month, Teddy Thompson and his crackerjack band headline a major UK tour next January and February finishing at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire February 12th, 2009.

Currently touring the UK as special guest to James Blunt, Teddy will perform songs from his acclaimed top ten album ‘A Piece Of What You Need’, produced by Marius De Vries and songs from his earlier albums including the wonderful ‘Separate Ways’.

“The Things I Do” single is set for release January 19th, 2009.

Don’t miss Teddy on tour in the States!

For this tour, Teddy invited the New York-based group The Grey Race to join him as his backing band. The group is comprised of bassist Jeff Hill (who has played on Thompson’s last two albums and is Rufus Wainwright’s longtime bassist), Ethan Eubanks on drums, and Jon Darling on guitar. Rounding out the lineup will be Ben Stivers on keyboards.
