Pennsylvanian quartet Innerpartysystem are proud to be the first band ever to have their debut UK single pressed onto a seven-inch single made entirely from dark chocolate and limited to only 100 copies.

Here's a video of the vinyl being played and eaten, great music and a great snack!

Watch video of Chocolate 7":

Featuring their forthcoming single "Don't Stop", released June 30th, 2008, if kept cool enough the record does actually play as the grooves are cut into the chocolate, allowing it to play like a normal, if slightly crackly, vinyl single. We kid you not. It might not sound as good as regular vinyl but it sure tastes better and it's far easier to swallow.

Innerpartysystem are also confirmed to play the highly-anticipated Projekt Revolution show at Milton Keynes Bowl June 29th, 2008. Headlined by Linkin Park, Innerpartysystem join Jay-Z, Pendulum, N.E.R.D, Enter Shikari and The Bravery on a bill that threatens to be one of the gigs of the summer.

Their first visit to the UK in April for the Camden Crawl immediately caught the attention of music heads and clued-up media leaders in the capitol with the likes of Zane, Daniel P Carter, XFM, Scuzz and Kerrang! all lending their support. The superb Penta directed video, is currently the #1 requested video on Scuzz.

Alongside their appearance at Projekt Revolution, the Pennsylvanian quartet are also confirmed to play the following dates including a set at the Wireless Festival, where they will appear on the Tuborg Stage.

Check out the band's tour teaser video

23rd Wolverhampton Little Civic

'Original Boardwalk Style', a live album from Trey Anastasio and the Undectet, will be released on June 10th, 2008 by Anastasio's Rubber Jungle Records.

Proceeds from the sale of the album will benefit the Seven Below Arts Initiative, established to foster artistic development and support arts education in the state of Vermont. The program offers residencies for visual artists at The Barn, a uniquely restored property on 65 acres in Vermont that previously served as the recording studio for Phish, Anastasio and many others.

The album was recorded at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ on December 30th and 31st of 2006, coming at the end of the band's tour - and just 15 days after Anastasio's much-publicized arrest in New York. With his trial looming, the future was uncertain - and he knew these shows were likely to be the last he would play for a long time.

The raw, emotional energy permeated the set as the composer/vocalist/guitarist led The Undectet, comprised of Tony Hall (bass, vocals), Ray Paczkowski (keyboards), Jeff Sipe (drums), Christina Durfee (vocals, synthesizer), Jennifer Hartswick (vocals, trumpet), Peter Apfelbaum (saxophone, flute), Russell Remington (saxophone, flute), Jeff Cressman (trombone), Dave Grippo (saxophone) and Cyro Baptista (percussion), through electrifying big band arrangements of his classic songs, replete with big horns and dazzling Brazilian percussive stylings.

The shows came at a turning point in Trey's life. The energy is palpable, and the songs explosive. The events of the previous weeks give the music an added depth, noticeable in the bluesy guitar of "Plasma," or as the New Year's countdown approaches during "Mr. Completely."

The night proved to be one of transcendence, apparent in the crowd's intense reaction and the cohesive sound of the band onstage. This alchemy imbues "Drifting" with fresh meaning - "I've been drifting/for years at sea/But now, you've come along/to rescue me" The shows arguably contained some of the best guitar playing of Trey's career.

'Original Boardwalk Style' will be available in CD and double-gatefold LP configurations at Trey Anastasio's online store.

Digital audio downloads (in both MP3 and FLAC formats) will be sold at Live Phish Downloads.

Fans can pre-order the album in their preferred format at both sites.

All pre-orders will automatically be entered to win a print - signed by esteemed photographer Jeff Kravitz and Trey Anastasio - of the band on stage at the House of Blues. Color corrected by Jennifer Brown, it will be framed in barn board crafted by Lars Fisk, a creative contributor to The Barn's Artist-in-Residence program. The photo will be utilized in the album's packaging. Ten runners-up will receive autographed copies of the vinyl.

Celine Dion is known not only for her huge voice, but also for her live performance and incredible stage presence. This footage of Celine belting out "All By Myself" on her 'Taking Chances' world tour a few days ago (which hits the UK in May 2008), shows that as the diva hit 40 on March 30th, THAT voice is better than ever, and her emotional and dramatic performance could impress even the harshest of critics.

Watch video - Celine Dion "All By Myself" live:

As the biggest selling female artist of all time, Celine Dion is currently showing the rest how it's done with a world tour, UK platinum selling album and forthcoming UK single "Alone" on May 5th, 2008, life really does start at 40!

Though Celine had been performing in her record-breaking Las Vegas engagement for the past 5 years, it has been close to 10 years since she has toured around the world. On her Taking Chances World Tour, Celine will visit many territories for the very first time, including this inaugural visit to South Africa where she holds the record for being the country's biggest selling artist of all time.

Immediately following this current leg, Celine performed in Japan and Korea and is currently performing in various dates across Australia.

In May 2008 the tour moves to the UK and Europe playing stadiums and arenas, and finally it heads back across the ocean where Celine will open the North American leg of her tour in Boston on 12th August.

Celine Dion 2008 UK tour dates:

May 2nd and 3rd - Manchester Evening News Arena.
May 6th and 8th - London The 02 Arena.

The final double A side record in the Brainlove 7" Club comes this March 17th, 2008 from two deceptively different bands that actually have a lot in common in their style and approach.

Friends Of The Bride fuse together swing and garage rock influences to create a suave, witty take on guitar music, while Manchester-based trio Modernaire use electronic beats and synths in their darkly comic, seductive pop.

Each band presents two previously unreleased songs, with specially commissioned photography by Vicki Churchill for the artwork and an original sleeve design by Polly Betton.

Join the 7" Club and receive all five pieces of vinyl from Brainlove's last year, including songs from Napoleon IIIrd, Pagan Wanderer Lu, Applicants, Open Mouths, Bishi, Anat Ben-David, Planningtorock, JIMC, Tim Ten Yen, Shimura Curves and of course Friends Of The Bride and Modernaire.

For more information, go to: Brainlove Seven Inch Club

The release party for the 7" (as well as the Keyboard Choir album "Mizen Head To Gascanane Sound", also on Brainlove this month) takes place March 4th at London's legendary White Heat club; Modernaire will also play a Manchester release party in conjunction with Brainlove and Akoustik Anarkhy.

Live - 2008 Shows:

4th March: Brainlove vs White Heat @ Madame JoJo's, Brewer Street, Soho, London Live: Friends Of The Bride / Keyboard Choir / Modernaire Djs: John Brainlove / Natasha Vorontsova / Matty & Olly

14th March: Brainlove vs Akoustik Anarkhy @ Piccadilly Gardens Hotel, Manchester Live: Modernaire / Cats In Paris / Special Guests Djs: Soft Priest / John Brainlove

AAAA Side Tracklist

Friends of the Bride: You Can't Take Him Anywhere / Hey Buddy Modernaire: Faites Vos Jeux / Taste

- Released 17th March 2008 in selected independent records shops, via the internet, and digitally via iTunes and eMusic

The Hives release the infectious, funky anthem that is "We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S)" as a single on 25th February 2008 (Polydor). Recorded with hip-hop producer Pharrell Williams in Miami for 'The Black and White Album' it is an electrifying collaboration, a meeting of great minds and big ideas, taking The Hives into new sonic terrain.

The single will be released digitally and as a Limited 10" Vinyl backed with exclusive remixes: Matt Helder from Arctic Monkeys shakes up "We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S)", as does Russell Leetch from Editors while Nick Zinner from Yeah Yeah Yeahs gets his magic fingers on previous single "Tick Tick Boom" with his Post Colonization Mix.

SINGLE ARTWORK COMPETITION WINNER:

The Hives recently invited fans to submit artwork in a competition for the sleeve of the new single which yielded a hearty response. The band got their heads stuck in to the virtual postbag, whittling down the few hundred entries to a strong shortlist, and then a final favourite featuring first class portraits of the band by one Rowenna Harrison from London. Rowena's design will adorn the 10" single sleeve and accompany the digital release.

The Coral is set to release their latest single, "Put The Sun Back" in February 2008.

2007 has been the year in which The Coral put the problems of the past behind them and re-emerged stronger and brighter than ever. Their current album, 'Roots and Echoes' was regarded across the board as a major return to form for a band who have been in the glare of the spotlight since their Top 10 eponymous debut in 2002.

With Q acclaiming lead singer and lyricist James Skelly as "one of the finest writers, and voices, in British music today", NME seeing it as "the finest since their debut" and the Daily Mirror conclusively stating "you won't find a better album this year", the return of the Wirral six piece was the comeback of the year. Little wonder that 'Roots and Echoes' is noted in many of the end of year polls for albums of the year.

The year closed with the band playing three very special home town shows at Liverpool's Academy with supports from long term fans The Twang and The View in addition to original home town heroes Shack.

2008 sees The Coral release a new single from 'Roots and Echoes' in the form of "Put The Sun Back". The single is released on CD and two limited editions formats. Across the format are 3 exclusive new tracks, a live version of the single and the video.
