Where we’re at - Vitriol I.D.

Okay people - you’ve hopefully been checking our bulletins and maybe have an idea of what we’re about, but just to make sure, here’s a status check:
To start, a rather humble but necessary thank you to everyone who’s been following the VID cause, or helping us to gain some sure footing. Fans are, as for every band, a godsend either way, and we fully appreciate your support. Therefore, we have started to give away our independent single at EVERY gig. The cd features the ever-popular ‘She Rocks’ and ‘Tonto’ (from our forthcoming album, ‘Sabreworm’, independent release in October 2007). ‘Sabreworm’ will also soon be available via download at iTunes.
In the last month, we have had a Kerrang! magazine recommendation for VID classic ‘Fascinate By Hate’ from Leicester’s Steve Beebee; a very successful jaunt on Last.fm with both ‘Fascinate…’ and ‘She Rocks’; play time of ‘She Rocks’ on The Beat; ever-increasing favourable critique of our live performance (if you STILL haven’t seen us live, it means you MUST, and also means that you haven’t got the single yet!); BBC interest in ‘Sabreworm’…
All in all, the last month has added plenty of weight to the already continuing popularity of Vitriol I.D., and gives us a little more hope that not everyone wants the same ‘guitar-based’ radio-friendly anti-pop indie that’s being spoon fed to the nation every hour of every day.
Our plans are underway for the next year - a tour of Europe, more recording of the new material, and more gigs than ever! You should DEFINITELY stick around and enjoy the ride that is VITRIOL I.D.
Peace.
C,P&R Vitriol I.D.
