Exotic Techno-pop from Japan now available at iTunes

(Tokyo) — Atols, a Japanese techno/electric-pop music unit, released its 5th indie album called “Lesson 1″ at Apple iTunes Store throughout the world. Because “Lesson 1″ is the first worldwide release among their albums, this is the first chance for foreign electric music fans to discover their new techno/electric-pop sound with exotic Asian flavors.

We are a Japanese electronica, breakbeats, breakcore, and IDM unit consisting of 2 musicians. One of us is a human beat boxer with an established reputation in Japan. We fuse warm sound of human voices and acoustic instruments with synthetic sound of digital gadgets to bring a totally new multi colored polyhedron landscape. Our music is all about overwhelming love for inorganic substance; by this love, in turn, we express the admiration to life, humanism, and romance.

Previously, although we received numerous requests and inquiries from foreign countries about the availability of our music in their countries, we could never give a clear answer. Now, we are really glad to have our album available at iTunes Store because anyone interested in our music can go to iTunes and buy and start listening to our album immediately, regardless of the countries they reside.

The physical CD is also available at CD Baby (http://cdbaby.com/cd/atols/) for those who prefer the better sound quality than digital downloads.
