Ken Hyland would probably be considered a "singer-songwriter" if he was left with only a guitar or a piano to write with. But since his days as a hip hop obsessed dj in the burroughs of South Jersey, Hyland has picked up not only a turntable or two, but has become his own self taught full band. Not that that was by choice, but by chance, as his first few demos evolved from singing over hip hop beats and samples, to replacing samples with his own instrumentals. www.kenhyland.com
