ARTIST DESCRIPTION

In 1998 four guys from Sofia, Bulgaria started a band and named it Daily Noise Club. Now, 10 years later, lot of club gigs and fest appearances, debut album - “Dirty Dress” (D.N.C./043) 2002, and a single - “Let Us” (D.N.C. music) 2004, they are still here looking forward! Up to this day Daily Noise Club finished their second album “Next Level”.

They were opening act for Anthrax in 2003 and Megadeth in 2005 for their shows in Sofia (Bulgaria), and also did a lot of tours with the independent bands like Soleilnoir (Germany), Voodoo Healers (Greece), Bubblegum Screw (UK) and Black Magic Six (Finland).

Playing high energy, passionate and loud rock Daily Noise Club can always make you fit into the right mood for a jump & shout type of party! This is the feeling they deliver and you get at their shows, proving that rock music is the ultimate time machine, even now in 21st century!

MUSIC QUOTES

“Next Level” as a disc, is a strange beast indeed. The only really common thread throughout the album is a high level of energy, the pieces move from mood to mood and sound to sound, whether it be angry and explosive (opener “Next Level”), ecstatic and energetic (”Above”), a slow burn buildup to explosion (”I See (What You See)”) or positively mournful and troubled (”Dead Gent”). One thing that probably hurt this album considerably was that the sound/style is difficult to pigeon-hole. While that is all well and good for a listener, that did not sit well with radio. You were either grunge or you weren’t. But this album is probably the most successful example of blurring the lines. The sound of the Daily Noise Club is still rooted in early 1980s glam/alternative but the distorted guitars have been slimmed down to a more subtle production. In other words, it’s heavy music performed softly. Although the CD is full of contradictions that do not bode well for popular music, still it shows another musical aspect of the rock music, that reveals its beauty after listening to it several times.
- AMAdea Records, BULGARIA

Everything started when, long time ago, when I was 18 years, I formed my first hard rock band called Notredame, showing a nice work that now to the 46 years, I rescue hard rock of 70’s with a band called Burning Brains The Band, with great influences of Judas Priest, AC/DC, Mottorhead, Dokken, Ratt and the excellent Keel band, without a doubt.

The songs show the day to day reality, and not forgetting the romantic ballads, that show what a real hard rock band is. Coming along with me my wife Alcyete Caracciolo, who is poet and to song-writer of the band, so she writes the letters in Portuguese and translates into the English.

With only two months of formed band we received an invitation from a great friend called Fred of the Arrepius Store, (store specialized in metal material and rock), to open the show of the DR. SIN, and certainly we accepted without a doubt. After two months we opened the show of the band ANGRA here in Belém, it was a great success.

We participate with the program Protótipo from Culture FM Station, and an amazing show at the Store Ná Figueredo (Open Show) and not forgetting Boteco (Computer Store Bands Contest). We had an interview with the SBT Television and filming of the band in the store Ná Figueredo with 3 releases, what it can be seen in the photos of the ORKUT, what showed a much more mature band, with good musicians.

We have now our first DVD preformed at again at Ná Figueredo Store and another filmed at Cultura TV. We carry through a show in the Coffee with Art, a very good public. Day 23 of May we had been at Culture Television for a live show to entire Brazil and the rest of the world.

In this site, we have ringtones to sell and to divulge the http://burningbrains.ooober.com/. We want to show for the world that the Burning Brains The Band has a rock with quality and harmonious melodies, showing that romantic ballads remains in the good and old rock and roll. The band Burning Brains The Band: Pablo Monteiro: Bass, Antonio Jr: Vocal, Paulo Fernandes: Guitar, Mário Jorge: Guitarra and Carlos Junior: Drums. Our Band is registered in the Notary’s office Chermont Valley and the letters are registered in the sector of copyrights of the UFRJ.

On June 16th KLOS announced that CHAINDRIVEN was the fans’ favorite.

BIO:
CHAINDRIVEN was formed in 2002 in Santa Clarita, CA by Vocalist, Mando Medina; Guitarist, Dave Dzaich; Bassist, Scott Herron; and Drummer, Bob Slattery. The band was spawned when Scott and Dave decided to start a metal band. After a few false starts with various drummers, they found Bob. He had just recently returned from Europe, and fate had it that they would all cross paths. After months of auditioning vocalists, Mando joined the line up. He was fresh from his enlistment in the military, and he was offered the job right at the end of their first rehearsal together. At that point, they knew the combination of all four individuals had a certain raw magic. CHAINDRIVEN’s first full length, self-titled CD was released in January 2008, and has just started to create some buzz in the music world. The band’s hard-hitting, crunchy, driving sound has hailed venues such as The Whiskey-a-Go-Go, The Knitting Factory, and The Key Club among other legendary stops along the Sunset Strip and surrounding areas. Most recently, CHAINDRIVEN added a second guitarist, Chris Neil, to the line up. His personal style rounds out CHAINDRIVEN’s unique jaw-clenching sound. CHAINDRIVEN is currently working on their second album, continuing to gig, and enjoying every minute playing for their growing fan base.

MOSCOW, RUSSIA - They’re dark and intense. Frontman is covered with tattoos. They play blistering heavy metal laced with throat-scalding vocals and string-shedding guitar. And they sing songs about : Gorbachev?

America has never seen a rock band quite like ANJ, which will be hitting U.S. shores imminently for a summer tour. Fronted by captivating frontman and mastermind Anatoly Zhuravlev (AKA ANJ), the band describes itself as “Megadeth after five bottles of Russian vodka” - and indeed, the group’s sonic attack stands up to the most celebrated American metal.

But ANJ lacks the gloomy self-seriousness that characterizes much of the genre, citing “Slavic folklore” as an influence alongside Metallica; listeners accustomed to the cold-fish attitudes of mainstream metal-mongers will find ANJ a delicious blast of Russian caviar. Indeed, they’re closer in spirit to the satirical animated band Dethklok from Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim series Metalocalypse. This is largely due to Anatoly’s Eastern charm, self-aware humor and flair for storytelling, which make ANJ’s songs about as animated as live action can be. The indefatigable performer is also a filmmaker, and is currently preparing an action-suspense flick.

The band recently traveled to Los Angeles to record their song “Gorbachev” in English, assisted by producer John Travis (Kid Rock, Buckcherry), guitarist Levon Sultanian and drummer Roy Mayorga. The video was directed by comedy ace Tom Stern, known for his work on such series as Crank Yankers, The Man Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live and That’s My Bush.

In addition to its lead singer’s cocky, compelling theatricality, ANJ features the frenetic fretwork of prodigy guitarist Oleg Izotov. The Moscow-born axeman began playing at 13; by 16 he was a busy session musician. He later took first prize at the all-Russian “Mnogolikaya Gitara” (”Multifaced Guitar”) contest, as well as the “School of Rock” showdown organized by Russian MTV and the East-West company. In 2005, Oleg became Russia’s first and only endorser of Schecter guitars.

Formed in 2003, ANJ gave its first performance at a local MTV studio - and though the network’s producers expected pop-rock, the band quickly unleashed its amp-melting barrage. They soon gathered a rabid local following, fueled by the hit ballad “The First Night.” Their debut disc, Under an Intent Target, followed in short order. In 2005 they mounted their first international tour, beginning at the MetalMania fest in Katowice, Poland, and concluding (after an eight-month, scorched-earth campaign) at Moscow’s Luzhinski Arena. Eastern Europe quickly fell before their onslaught, and they’ve subsequently been welcomed as such metal and biker gatherings as Krasnogorsk Open Air, Friday 13th fest, Hail To Russia fest and Victory Fest.

ANJ represented Russia at 2006’s Finnish Metal Expo in Helsinki and at 2007’s Download in the UK.

Fronted by Lau Tutusaus, the group’s heavy progressive melodies and styles surprisingly compliment her ethereal and operatic vocal manner.

The album’s sound is as varied and deep as the concept material inspiring the album. The album’s stand out moments includes the heavy edged ‘Alone’, the symphonic, ‘Watermind’ and epic ballad, ‘Eyes of Death’.

The four piece band from Barcelona have been producing a series of demos over the past two years. Signed in Summer 2007 to BLPro, they completed the album just before Hallowe’en 2007. In June they supported Amon Amarth at The Metal Circus 2007 in Barcelona Spain.

‘Aura of Prison’ comes in at nearly 60 minutes, containing the re-mastered single ‘Alone’ and demo tracks, ‘Watermind’, ‘The Truth’, and ‘Eyes of Death’.

‘..genuine inventive beauty.. Brenda are here as an influence rather than to be influenced.. a very very fine.. rewarding, highly recommended and rather original two track single’ ORGAN MAGAZINE - SINGLE OF THE WEEK

‘With the jittery ignition of 65DOS and the bleeding guitars of Fugazi circa ‘Instrument’. With an Oceansize ear for melody, these guys are a stunning addition to the Post-Rock genre, one’s to watch!’ Subba-cultcha.com - SINGLE OF THE MONTH

“Songs that are more inventive in 30 seconds than the entire career of 90% of other bands” - Drowned in Sound

“A breathtakingly huge musical quarry that, the more you excavate, the more you discover, the better it
gets.. 9/10″ - No Ripcord

“There’s something of deepening substance here… drawing an invisible line somewhere between Tortoise and
Stars of the Lid. A must.” - The Sunday Experience

“Brenda are certainly trying to redraw the lines between rock and electronic music.. Few bands realise their goals as well as this” - 4/5 Manchester Music

“This is music to be absorbed again and again” - The Fly

SAMARIUM is the hardest-hitting original metal outfit this side of the earth’s crust. Much like the members’ musical influences Slayer, The Cure and Fugazi, the three-piece put on an electrified live performance everywhere they go. So far in the band’s young career, SAMARIUM has torn up such venues as The Continental, Siberia, Lit Lounge and Fat Baby in NYC, Trash Bar and The Hook in Brooklyn, and Jimmy’s Seaside in Connecticut, bringing a larger crowd with them every time.
