This is a Musical Tribute to the late Barry White featuring the “Kingsters Unlimited Love Band” and “Lanar” singing Barry White. Pamela Cornelius and Venus Adore appear as The Unlimited Love Singers. Introducing the “Unlimited Love Dancers” who add new moves to the old classics.

Lanar, Pamela Cornelius and Venus Adore were all performers in Barry White: Guided by Destiny a Musical stageplay about the life of Barry White. Emmitt Thrower, the Producer of that Off Broadway show is also producing this concert. In Barry White: Guided by Destiny, he portrayed the unforgettable “Ali”. The Concert will feature Instrumentals by the “Kingsters Unlimited Love Band’, Hit songs like “High Steppin” by the Love Unlimited Singers and of course Lanar singing some of your favorite Barry White tunes like “Practice What You Preach”, “The First My Last My Everything”, “Let the Music Play” as well as a surprise Duet originally performed by Barry White and Glodean White. A day of Love songs, Dance tunes and an incredible dancing exhibition that takes you back and brings you to the future.

New York’s Post-Pop duo KOKO DOZO’s members — Amy Douglas and Polarity/1 — remember 9/11 well. P/1 shares a neighborhood with the fallen towers. They remember; and they know that you remember. That day will live on in our nation’s DNA. Death, destruction and the trauma of invasion generate a force of memory that is trivialized by media rituals with solemn speech-making, dazzling graphic design, dramatic background music and the droning subtext of fear and vengeance.

KOKO DOZO also want to point out that national tributes to The Fallen — the rendering of tragedy as fetish — inevitably lead to more death, less freedom and the assurance that healing will never occur. For the past seven years America has celebrated the nightmare of 9/11 with a ceaseless Dance of Death.What has gone unnoticed and unheralded are all of us who have remained alive and who breathe life into the future with wisdom gained from that day. We are not “heroes” and we do not lobby for the construction of monuments to ourselves. We do not inspire insane acts of aggression and repression. We are not sexy ad copy for political campaigns. Living fearlessly is our act of defiance against brutality. That is what ultimately will make us safe and prosperous.

KOKO DOZO proclaims that the daily act of living through tragedy is more worthy of a holiday than death and destruction. We’re alive! And we want to celebrate being alive on September 11. And on every September 11 to follow. Life springs from the living. Creativity springs from the living. Hope and possibility are the natural expression of life in motion.

KOKO DOZO has chosen to perform on 9/11 and they will not request a moment of silence. They want their audience to dance. They want everybody to go out and dance; to remember the dead and celebrate the living. Be alive! It feels good. KOKO DOZO proclaims that it’s ok to feel good. Especially on September 11.

Having launched to a phenomenal response on the 21^st May through www.supajam.com/fasttrack, the ultimate unsigned band competition ‘Fast Track to FIB Heineken’ is all set to enter its second phase. After ploughing through over 1,000 entries from unsigned bands across Europe the SupaJam judges have decided on the shortlist for the 2008 ‘Fast Track to FIB Heineken’ and this summer, one very special band or act will get the chance to play alongside festival legends Morrissey, Gnarls Barkley, My Bloody Valentine and many more at this year’s Benicassim Music Festival from 17^th to 20^th July 2008.
The next stage of the competition takes place between the 13^th and 20^th June at www.supajam.com/fasttrack…and this is where you come in. The public will rate the 30 shortlisted entries online and the top five acts will be announced on 21^st June. The five finalists will be invited to perform at Vince Power’s world famous venue the Pigalle Club in Piccadilly, London on July 1^st. At the final, a panel of music industry experts from Live Nation, BBC 6 Music and more, led by Vince Power will judge each performance on the night and then decide who will win the gig of a lifetime!
The competition element is not solely limited to the bands as EVERYBODY who votes between the 13^th and 20^th June will be entered into a prize draw to win one of five pairs of Benicassim Festival tickets.
SupaJam are also delighted to announce a media partnership between Apple’s QuickTime Media Player and ‘Fast Track to FIB Heineken’. From the 15^th to 20^th June ‘Fast Track to FIB Heineken’ will be one of five QuickTime Media Player ‘Quick Hits’ receiving over 1m views daily.
The competition is also able to announce that each act who appears in the public vote on www.supajam.com/fasttrack will have their entry track globally released by iTunes.

Atomic Brother Launches Video Podcast Wastin Time With Atomic Brother

New York - Atomic Brother announces the launch of their new video podshow, Wastin’ Time With Atomic Brother (http://atomicbrother.com/wastin). Wastin’ Time With Atomic Brother, a video podcast, is a personal invitation from the band to a look inside their world, taking you behind the scenes with the alternative hard rock band in studio, band practice, in concert, wherever, whenever.

Atomic Brother is leveraging new media technology and the growing popularity of podcasting to get value added content directly to their fans, and to connect with a new audience. “Using this new media technology gives bands a new avenue to distribute and promote themselves while keeping control within the band,” says Michael J. Carrasquillo, filmmaker and Atomic Brother drummer.

As an unsigned band Atomic Brother enjoys a level of freedom and control that most of their major label counterparts do not. The podshow is uncensored and unfiltered by marketing departments and record company executives. “We’re very excited about the new podshow” says S.A. Sebastian Gnolfo, Atomic Brother bass player and founder. “We’ve had video content on our site for a long time, but with Wastin’ Time we’re having fun telling our story the way we want. It isn’t just promotional clips.”

The band is currently producing and editing the podshow themselves with Carrasquillo at the helm. There are currently two episodes available at the Wastin’ Time With Atomic Brother website (http://atomicbrother.com/wastin) and at iTunes (www.itunes.com) with more episodes in development. The show is available free for fans and viewers to load into their iPod or other video compatible MP3 players, to watch where they want, when they want.

The first episode of Wastin Time With Atomic Brother takes viewers to the Atomic Brother show at the Trash Bar in Brooklyn, NY in March. Fans and viewers will get to see a live performance of the song “Employee of the Month” plus a glimpse into the personal, fun side of the band while they hang out having fun at the club with fans and friends.

The second episode goes behind the scenes at band rehearsal preparing for a show at Crash Mansion in NYC with a live performance of the song “Not My Fault” and hang out with the band having fun in the studio.
