I can't even begin to explain how happy I am to see Jimi Hendrix's 'Are You Experienced?' covered by Devo with their version, 'RU Experienced?' on YouTube.
We have the Devo Double Feature dvd here and when we first bought it I was pretty disgusted when I read the reason on the back cover as to why their 'RU Experienced?' video was left out:
"*Devo regrets that "RU Experienced?" is not included in the program. The current executors of the Jimi Hendrix estate were determined to prove to us the old adage - 'To seek permission is to seek denial.'"
Well, here in all it's glory (unless the Hendrix Estate (Janie) tries to somehow remove the video from YouTube) is Devo's, 'RU Experienced?':
