England's finest rebellious young rockers, The Subways, will be playing a one-off homecoming gig at The Green Room in Welwyn Garden City on 22 February, 2008 as part of the 'Bring it on Back' gig series brought to you by Red Stripe, Jamaican lager beer.
In the fourth instalment of their Bring It On Back series, which previously saw The View, Hot Club De Paris and The Rifles return to their respective home towns for up close and personal gigs, we have the explosive return of The Subways to the town where it all started for them, the place where early friendships were formed and dreams started to be realised.
2008 looks like being The Subways best year yet. Fresh from recording their second long player in Los Angeles the band are heading for a busy time ahead as this album is heavily tipped as one of THE rocking releases of 2008 with a full live tour and several incendiary festival performances to follow.
Ahead of all of the attention about to be heaped upon them, The Subways are delighted to exclusively unleash their new material along with old favourites at this truly unique gig and would love to offer you the chance to join the party!
