Watch "A Madness To His Method" video:
Purposely having themes that evoke a mess of crushes, tailored shirts, yearnings, cheap beer, pride, faded eye make-up, anger, vintage designer ties, martinis, and a trail of tattered hearts, Gene Dante's influences are worn on his sleeve. He is a fighter, who will break a sweat for whatever and whomever he loves, including a life-long injury-laden romance with theatre.
Dante is a natural showman on stage, creating a post-glam rat pack, which mix up a stiff cocktail of trash-meets-class.
After a self imposed exile into New York, Dante's new record 'The Romantic Lead' answers the question, “Can trash and tuxedos mix?”
“These Boston stalwarts blend in lyrical pop content with rock guitars and catchy hooks hooks like milk and Oreo’s.” - Frantik Magazine
