They like to define themselves as "tribal dark": layered lyrics drift over synths and samples, backed by percussive drums and clean basslines, and when you can't avoid to dance it's a cathartic, epic ceremony more than a vacuous friday-indie-disco.

Their taste's have more than a hat tipped towards the excellence of Bowie, Wire, Clor, the Knife, Bjork, and some 90's bites such as Royksopp. Whilst including 80's style intros worthy of early Depeche Mode with vocals drifting superbly over dark mellow synths.
The name came from a title they saw on a newspaper, it describes quite well their controversial attitude, besides antics in ancient Latin means err... guess? Ancient.
As they said: "we just like this to have different meanings for people who read it, we don't want to explain anything; we love people to use their imagination, we just start fires and then we run away."
With new demos now online as well, King Antics are expected to storm some really good stages this month.
