Prior to the Rock on the Range date, the band will return to Europe in April touring Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. More U.S. dates will be announced.
Danko Jones previously announced officially wrapping the filming of the third and final installment of their Below the Belt music video trilogy for the track "I Think Bad Thoughts."
The video marks the return of an all-star cast that had been previously featured in both of the epic "Full of Regret" and "Had Enough" videos.
The video starring Elijah Wood, Ralph Macchio, Jena Malone, Mike Watt, Frank Drank, Laura Margolis and Art Hsu will be officially released later this month.
Danko Jones capped off a huge year in 2010 and kicked off 2011 with a series of live shows at the Sundance Film Festival, along with batch of brand new interviews on Nikki Sixx's "Sixx Sense Radio" show and HD live performances of songs "Full of Regret," "I Think Bad Thoughts," "Sugar High," and "Cadillac" on JBTV.
Described by Maxim as "AC/DC sniffing glue with Motley Crue" and hailed by SPIN as "the world's most entertaining hard rockers," Danko Jones (vox/guitar), John Calabrese aka JC (bass), and Dan Cornelius (drums) have relentlessly toured the world over.
Sharing stages with everyone from hard rock icons Motörhead and Sepultura to rock heavyweights Guns N' Roses and Nickelback to musical legends the Rolling Stones, the Toronto trio may very well be one of the best, or worst, kept secrets in music today.
Watch "Had Enough" from the Below the Belt video trilogy. The video, shot at a mansion in Yonkers and in NYC, stars Ralph Macchio (The Karate Kid), comedian Don Jamieson (That Metal Show/VH1), actor Frank Drank, and is the prequel to "Full of Regret":
