Spree Wilson Premieres "Sharpshooter" Video
Song Available for Free Download!
Spree Wilson has premiered his brand new "Sharpshooter" lyric video and a free download of the song. The new track comes hot on the heels of Spree's return last month with "King Shit (The Answer) ft. Novel".
Spree will release his second mixtape The Spark for free download in early March, featuring production from trio Organized Noise (Outkast). It is Spree's first new collection of songs since the release of his much-buzzed-about 2011 debut mixtape The Never Ending Now (presented by Converse). That project garnered him critical praise for pushing boundaries with his undeniable ability to layer his thoughtful songwriting and hip-hop roots with his rock'n'roll inspirations, eclectic influences and top-notch musicianship.
Spree Wilson - "Sharpshooter" Lyric Video:
Vibe has called him "a janglier Andre 3000" and Complex has said that Spree's debut "encompasses serious range." Okayplayer described the project as being akin to the "spirited genre-bending of acts like Outkast, Cee-Lo and Kanye West."

Born in Nashville and musically re-born in Atlanta, young Spree developed a love for everything from Elton John to Fleetwood Mac to Snoop Dogg to Velvet Underground.
He fell in love with the guitar and his Casio keyboard and upon hearing Outkast's Aquemini, it became "the landmark album of his life."
After attending college at Clark Atlanta University in Georgia, Spree was mentored by heavyweight producer Dallas Austin and was eventually offered a deal. But Spree felt ready for a change and bought a one-way ticket to New York City. After sleeping in the subway and Penn Station for weeks, his demos fell into the hands of Q-Tip, who was ready and willing to help Spree get his foot in the door of the NYC music industry. In 2010 he was signed to Sony.
