The first release out on Sold Records on the 2nd November, 2007 comes from a group called the DNA Orchestra.
With previous releases out on Azuli they know how to create a true musical statement. The track “I Always Knew” is a deep and very powerful piece. It has a bass line which will rock any sound system and a vocal line by Kate Smith which is both enchanting and meaningful. The release also features a remix by Sequential, which with its break beat, grooving bass line and his use of the amazing vocal, gives this release something for every bodies taste. Paul Main’s breaks mix tops this release off by offering a leftfield flavour which is both captivating and intriguing.
Sold records was set up to with the purpose of promoting and releasing quality music. It is a label which does not believe in boundaries. If music is good it should be heard. That’s why Sold records releases music in three very different genres. These are house, breaks and chilled so whatever your mood there is a Sold release for you. Colour coded logos makes it clear and easy to choose your style and to find that track that makes your day.
