ABC Family's hit show Pretty Little Liars features The Strange Familiar "Unwanted" [Video]

The Strange Familiar is featured on an episode of ABC Family's hit show, Pretty Little Liars. The episode originally aired June 26th.

Now in its 3rd season, the teen drama, based on the novels of the same name, features the track "Unwanted" off Chasing Shadows (Krian Music Group).

Written by Kira Leyden (vocals/piano) and Jeff Andrea (guitar), "Unwanted" is one of the most powerful songs on the album. With Leyden's expressive piano melody and stirring vocals telling the story of leaving behind all the negativity in one's life, it fits perfectly into the Pretty Little Liars plot line of deceit, murder, and lies.

The song, much like the rest of Chasing Shadows, shows off the band's ability to write timeless music that connects with their audience on a deep emotional level. "Unwanted" carries a message of letting go of the unnecessary and undesirable toxins, whether an inanimate object or a person, in one's life.
