Based in Oxford, England and created in January 2005 by Singer/Songwriter/Musician Jenny May (originally from New England), Band Weblogs features music commentary, band and music blogs, music articles, press, publicity, reviews, interviews, opinion, tour dates, guest music bloggers and more with free promotion and advertisement for bands. Blog entries on Band Weblogs have appeared on websites such as Reuters, USA Today, Austin American Statesman, Virgin Radio and more. A great way to promote bands and music.

With a passion for music, Jenny May has performed with bands in the US and the UK, her music has appeared in films, she was a vocal coach for the Yamaha Rock School and she’s worked on music projects with musicians such as Jon Fishman (Phish) and Fyfe Dangerfield (Guillemots).

Jenny is currently writing music commentary for Band Weblogs and writing, recording and performing music with songwriter and musician Dave Tommo. They use Apple’s GarageBand software to record music and podcasts and have demoed GarageBand for the Oxford Mac Group at Oxford University.

Band Weblogs now has a voice and has been ‘brought to life’ with it’s own podcast, Band Weblogs Podcast Show Starring Jenny May and Dave Tommo. Playing independent music, podsafe music, unsigned bands, music by their own bands (The Babylon Cowboys; The Tommos), and chat about music, sport talk, competitions and surprise guests. The Band Weblogs Podcast Show is aired on CBS owned KYOU Radio and 1550AM in San Francisco.
