ACM Top New Solo Vocalist Luke Bryan just got back from his Spring Break 2010 tour, sponsored by Costa Del Mar Sunglasses and Miller Lite, and he reportedly lived out the words to one of his own songs - "Wild Weekend" - one of the three self-penned songs on his second Spring Break EP 'Spring Break 2...Hangover Edition'.

The Capitol Nashville rising star rolled in to Florida for a sold out show at the Swamp in Ft. Walton Beach and the following afternoon he literally shut the local Wal-Mart down when he did an instore performance and autograph session for the spring break college crowd.

After spending the afternoon mingling with the college kids on the beach, he performed for another sold out crowd of over 4,000 wild spring breakers at Spinnaker's.

Hundreds of fans had to be turned away because it was over capacity. Students were even seen hanging over hotel balconies to catch a glimpse of Bryan's show.

Luke Bryan will be in Las Vegas in April to compete for the ACM Top New Artist at the 45th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas Sunday, April 18, 2010 at 8:00 PM live ET/delayed PT on the CBS Television Network.

Luke Bryan, the 2010 ACM Top New Solo Vocalist, released his sophomore album, Doin' My Thing, on Capitol Records Nashville in October 2009, debuting at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart.

The CD includes his #1 gold single "Do I" and new smash hit "Rain Is A Good Thing."

Bryan is currently headlining his own dates as well as opening for Jason Aldean on the "Wide Open Tour" and will be a featured act on Miranda Lambert's upcoming spring tour.

Bryan has done a fun spoof on the "Don't Vote" video used during the 2008 presidential campaign with twenty-three of his closest artist friends, comedians, and professional sports buddies. The video, already considered a viral success with over 20,000 views, has created quite a buzz since being posted last Wednesday on Bryan’s official YouTube page.

In addition to YouTube the video has been picked up by numerous media sites including AOL's The Boot, Yahoo!, TV Guide and Country Weekly.com. Country radio stations across the country are chatting the video up on air to listeners as well as posting it to their own station websites for listeners to watch.

The video is not only being viewed by Luke Bryan's core country music fans but he's also getting support from people who have no idea who he is, like user mileyhannah930 who posted, "I don't even know who Luke Bryan is but the video was hilariously awesome so he's got my vote."

Luke Bryan announces first headline tour

"Doin' My Thing Tour"

Launches October 30th in Jacksonville, Florida

Luke Bryan will launch his first headline tour, “Doin’ My Thing Tour,” on October 30, 2009 in Jacksonville, Florida with shows continuing through December 5.

Prior to the tour launch Bryan will release his sophomore album, 'Doin’ My Thing', on October 6. The tour is sponsored by Miller Lite and Republic Records duo Fast Ryde will open.

The kick-off city, venue and date was specifically chosen by Bryan as part of his love for college football as October 30 is the eve of the big SEC Georgia-Florida rivalry game in Jacksonville. Certainly, a not-to-miss game for this Georgia-native.

“Every performer dreams of the day you can take your own tour on the road,” says Bryan. “We just enjoy being out there, getting to know the fans and really working hard to make them have a good time.”

Bryan has honed his touring chops over the past several years since obtaining his record deal in 2007, performing over 350 shows. His seasoning progressed during touring stints as an opening act for Kenny Chesney, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley and Trace Adkins.

From media to venue owners, Bryan’s shows are a huge success.

“Bryan is a charismatic, personable performer with rural roots; plenty of bar-gig experience; a large bag of up-tempo tunes, most of them originals; and a sharp band that includes fiddle and steel guitar, so there is superstar potential.” - San Antonio Express-News

“I have seen Bryan’s live show a handful of times, and I can honestly say it is worth e-mailing all your friends to get them to bring him to your city.” - Chicago Tribune reviewer

“Whether it was the first time he played for us before he even had a song on the radio, or it's a highly anticipated sold out show now, Luke Bryan always rocks the house. He's got that kind of connection with the audience that you just can't teach. The crowd feeds off Luke's energy and accessibility, and it turns into a giant party!!” - Ed Warm, owner of Joe’s Bar in Chicago
