Released August 3rd 2009

THE BIGGEST names, and the LOUDEST tracks - it could only mean one thing... KERRANG! THE ALBUM is back... and with a who’s who of rock, punk and metal for 2009 it’s ready to show the compilation world of Dance and R&B exactly what an album should sound like!

Spanning 2 explosive CDs, CD 1 focuses on the rock and punk and includes the huge "Know Your Enemy" by Green Day, Billy Talents new single "Rusted From The Rain" and the rawkus "Juggernauts" by Enter Shikari.

CD 2 hones in on the world of metal and features the monster "Sulfur" by Download headliners Slipknot as well as the epic "Heroes Of Our Time" by Dragonforce (as featured on Rock Band). Put simply, no other album comes close.

Kerrang! Editor Paul Brannigan had to say of the album:

"Kerrang! has changed the lives of three generations of rock fans across the globe... but we’re not about to wallow in nostalgia. We believe that our world has never been more alive, that right now it’s exploding with bands who make music that sparkles with energy, imagination and colour, music that pushes boundaries, kick-starts hearts and makes life worth living. Kerrang! The Album '09 is the new soundtrack to your life." - Paul Brannigan

With exclusive tracks from established acts such as My Chemical Romance, New Found Glory, Alexisonfire, Marilyn Manson, Gallows and a showcasing of the new breed with the likes of Ghost Of A Thousand, Outcry Collective and Rolo Tomassi, Kerrang! The Album '09 really is the biggest, and the BEST compilation you could rock out to this year!

Arizona-based post-hardcore band, The Bled, announce a September 24, 2007 release date for 'Silent Treatment'. The five-piece band are currently taking road on the "Projekt Revolution" tour and several UK tours are planned for later this year.

'Silent Treatment' is the band's third full-length album and was recorded earlier this year with producer Brian McTernan who has worked with Thrice, From Autumn to Ashs, Hidden Plain View and Senses Fail. The resulting 11-song set is an explosive document of The Bled's trademark ability to join unexpected melodies and precision playing with the heaviest of rhythms. The first single "Shadetree Mechanics," is currently streamed on the bands myspace page with the streamed video of the second track "You Should Be Ashamed of Myself".

Formed in 2001, The Bled soon set the standard for their genre with the release of 'Pass the Flask' in 2003. Their breakout disc, 2005's 'Found In The Flood', cemented the band's reputation and critics proclaimed them to be musically and lyrically ahead of their peers. Spin called The Bled "The next big thing", while Metal Edge said, "With The Bled, you get uncompromising brilliance and hostility in equal measure" and Alternative Press included 'Silent Treatment' as one of the "Most anticipated in 2007."

Silent Treatment tracklisting:
1. Shadetree Mechanics
2. You Should Be Ashamed Of Myself
Formed in 2001 they have played across America and doing worldwide tours with My Chemical Romance, Afi, Thrice and many more bands. The Bled have released four full length albums with the reissue of 'Pass The Flask' in 2007 and two EP's.
