Justin Bieber, the soulful and precocious 15-year-old worldwide sensation whose first two single releases are currently both in the iTunes Top 20 full-song download chart, performed three songs live on the open-air Rockefeller Plaza stage of NBC’s Today Show this morning.

In Bieber’s three-song set list: the tough-and-tender, gold-certified “One Time;” the newly-released breezy singalong “One Less Lonely Girl,” which rocketed to No. 2 on the iTunes song download chart, selling over 32,000 copies in one day; and “Favorite Girl,” one more track featured on the upcoming Island Records debut MY WORLD.

The Today Show appearance brings Ontario-born Justin Bieber back to the scene of a fan-fueled mob happening just four weeks ago, when a planned intimate acoustic performance for 300 in the Rockefeller Center Nintendo store was overrun with 2,000 feverish followers.

In the holiday weekend run-up to the Monday morning appearance, fan frenzy has also been fanned by the posting of cover art for MY WORLD, scheduled for November 17, 2009 release, on Ryan Seacrest’s website.

The new “One Less Lonely Girl” video clip will be available for sale exclusively on iTunes today, October 12th. “One Time” is currently the No. 3 iTunes Top Video download, and has already been No. 1 on iTunes Canada.

MY WORLD, Justin’s debut on Island Records, features the writing and production of hit makers The-Dream, Tricky Stewart, and Midi-Mafia, plus a guest appearance by Usher on “First Dance.”

Justin Bieber has emerged as a global new media star getting bigger by the day, with 70 million YouTube.com video views (the first 10 million of them as an amateur, posting his own renditions of favorite Usher, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder songs) and nearly 14 million song streams of “One Time” on MySpace.com.

Four hit singles, with over 9 million sold

What wakes up in Vegas…couldn’t possibly remain a secret, if it has anything to do with KATY PERRY, the Capitol Records multi-platinum singer-songwriter who has completely captured the fun, the rhythm, the smarts, the look and the sound of our times in her smash debut album ONE OF THE BOYS.

Lily Allen’s new album, ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You’, will be in stores tomorrow (Feb 10, 2009) and she’ll celebrate the occasion with a performance on NBC’s “TODAY” show in the morning and a MySpace Secret Show at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom that evening.

With free Secret Shows also scheduled in Tokyo and London, the concerts mark the first time a single artist will take part in multiple MySpace Secret Shows on a global level.

Allen will perform on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” on February 16th and on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on February 18th.

She’ll return home thereafter for a series of U.K. dates, but kick off a North American headlining tour on April 1st in San Diego, CA.

Lead single “The Fear,” which debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. singles chart, recently topped Rolling Stone’s “Hot List.”

“The singer packs another lyrical punch as she touches upon the charade of fame, delusions of consumerism and media obsession with her celebrity,” said Billboard in a review of the track. Coldplay announce their “Viva La Vida” North American Tour in support of their new album of the same name, set for release in the US on June 17th, 2008 (UK – June 12th).

The tour, which will be produced by Live Nation, will kick off on June 29th in Philadelphia, PA.

Before kicking off the “Viva La Vida” tour, Coldplay will play free concerts in London (June 16, 2008 at the Brixton Academy) and New York (June 23rd at Madison Square Garden). Information on how to win tickets to these shows will be available at www.coldplay.com. The contest will run May 9th, 2008 through June 1st. Winners will receive notification on June 5th.

‘Viva La Vida’, Coldplay’s upcoming album, will be released by Capitol Music Group on June 17th. Produced by Brian Eno and Markus Dravs, the record is the follow-up to 2005’s ‘X&Y’, which debuted at #1 in 32 countries and has sold 10 million copies worldwide to date.

The album’s lead single “Violet Hill” was downloaded by two million people during the recent one-week period in which the band made the song available to fans for free. It is now for sale at all digital retailers and is quickly rising to the top of the charts at Modern Rock and AAA radio.

Coldplay will perform “Violet Hill” on the “TODAY” show on NBC on Friday, June 27th. Fans are encouraged to check out the performance in person. Viewing is on a first-come, first-served basis outside the show’s Window on the World Studio, located at 49th Street and Rockefeller Plaza in New York City. The band will also perform on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on June 26th.
