Kelis kicked off her series of national television appearances last month with visits to The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and Tavis Smiley.

Her co-headlining "All Hearts" tour with Robyn, named one of Spin's "25 Must-See Summer Tours," commences on July 23rd.

The New York Post's Pop Wrap called "4th of July (Fireworks)," "potentially the summer's most dynamite (yea, I went there) track!"

You can check out the accompanying video, which Kelis co-directed with Rankin and Nicole Ehrlich.

"4th of July - THE REMIXES" was released last week. The five-song EP, which is available at all digital retailers, features remixes by Rusko, Richard X, Burns, Calvin Harris and Fernando Garibay. "4th of July (Fireworks)" is the follow-up to Kelis' international No. 1 hit "Acapella," which topped both the Billboard Dance/Club Play Songs Chart and Music Week's Pop Club Chart in the U.K. earlier this year. "Acapella" was recently featured on the hit FOX show So You Think You Can Dance.

Spin called Flesh Tone one of the "25 Summer Albums That Matter Most," and gave it an eight out of ten rating in an album review, noting: "Kelis' fifth album is part reinvention, part creative vengeance...the R&B maverick goes full tilt house diva." "It's the classic throb of disco liberation," observed Rolling Stone while Vibe said it "gives drag queens and house lovers a new aural fixation." "Flesh Tone...is built to detonate like a bomb on the dance floor," said Elle. Perez Hilton gave the album a rave review on his website and has been tweeting about it non-stop, saying most recently: "I am LOVING that album!!!!!! From start to finish, it's fire!"

Kelis, best known for such smash singles as "Caught Out There," the Top 5, GRAMMY-nominated "Milkshake" and "Bossy," which became a million-selling ringtone, recently played the Glastonbury Festival.

She'll kick off the "All Hearts" tour with Robyn on July 23rd with a show at The Music Box in Los Angeles. The jaunt, which will feature special guests Dan Black and Far East Movement, will conclude with a two-night stand at New York City's Webster Hall (August 4th & 5th). She'll also play numerous international festivals this summer, including The Big Chill Festival in the U.K. on August 7th.
