"If I Die Young" is The Band Perry's second single for Republic Nashville. Their debut single, "Hip To My Heart," was a Top Twenty hit on the country singles charts. "If I Die Young," written by the band, is available on the trio's self-titled EP, released last month and now available through all major online music sites.

A thoughtful song that has gotten a strong reaction from radio, press and fans, "If I Die Young" was the free "Single of the Week" download at iTunes several weeks ago. The song will also be included in The Band Perry's full-length album, scheduled for release this fall.

The video's lush, romantic location is Two Rivers Mansion in Nashville. One of the earliest and best preserved of the early Italianate houses in Middle Tennessee, the mansion was part of an 1100-acre plantation located on fertile, rolling land between the Stones and Cumberland Rivers. The mansion, built by legendary Nashville figure David McGavock in 1859, was inhabited by the McGavock family for three generations until 1965. The property was purchased by the Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County in 1966. The fourteen-acre tract, which includes the mansion and a small brick house built in 1802, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Band Perry - siblings Kimberly, Neil and Reid Perry - originally hail from Mobile, Alabama, and now make their home in eastern Tennessee. After spending years honing their performing and songwriting skills, the trio began writing and collecting songs for their first country music recording.

Their music caught the ears of Big Machine's Scott Borchetta and Republic Nashville's Jimmy Harnen. The Band Perry signed to Republic Nashville in the summer of 2009.
