Absolute Sync secures major deals with top US TV shows and electrical retailer Comet

Absolute Marketing & Distribution's sync division, Absolute Sync, has marked its third anniversary by securing major TV deals with NBC's Grey's Anatomy and Covert Affairs for London soul duo Graffiti6, and a nationwide TV advertising campaign with electrical products retailer Comet for Cuban band Ska Cubano.

Absolute Sync has negotiated a deal with NBC which will see Graffiti6's second single, "Stare Into the Sun", being featured in Grey's Anatomy, while the band's debut single, "Annie You Save Me", will be heard in Covert Affairs. Both shows are expected to be screened in the UK later this year.

Both tracks are featured on Graffiti6's highly-acclaimed 12-track debut album Colours on the NW Free Music label.

In partnership with Imagem Creative Services, Absolute Sync has also scored a major success with leading electrical products retailer Comet on behalf of Cuban band Ska Cubano. Comet is to feature the high-energy band's track "Soy Campesino" in a nationwide TV advertising campaign, under the banner Come and Play.

During its most successful year so far, Absolute Sync has enjoyed massive success with TV advertising campaigns for brands such as Lucozade, General Electric and Heineken. It has previously worked on high-profile campaigns for Marks & Spencer (Dame Shirley Bassey's "Get The Party Started") and Pipex (David Hasselhoff's "Jump In My Car") - both of which were Top 10 hits.

Absolute's marketing manager Mark Dowling says: "One reason for our success is the fact that we're a truly independent company. We're able to assist agencies and production companies by making music licensing decisions quickly. We can also offer them music tracks that have not previously been available for film, TV and brand marketing purposes."
