Adele and PJ Harvey featured on NPR Music "First Listen" series

NPR Music is currently offering advance streams of new albums from Adele and PJ Harvey as part of the site's "First Listen" series. Both upcoming releases are available now, weeks before their release, for free on-demand listening at npr.org/music.

Adele: The Grammy-winning British singer returns with her sophomore album, 21, on February 22. Featuring collaborations with producers and songwriters as diverse as Rick Rubin and Ryan Tedder (OneRepublic), 21 unites elements of soul, pop and blues with poignant, powerful ballads. PJ Harvey: The British singer muses on the wartime history of her home country in Let England Shake, her eighth studio album, out February 15. Harvey took to a 19th-century church to record the tracks - in the works for two years - with longtime collaborators John Parish, Mick Harvey and producer Flood. Hear how she reinvents herself yet again, at NPR Music.
