"The passion injected into the record is undeniable" - Paste Magazine

"Revelator, the debut album from the 11-piece ensemble, is imbued with exactly the sort of rootsy American sounds one expects from veteran players like these, incorporating elements of Memphis soul, Delta blues, '60s rock and '70s funk." - MSN Music

"Husband and wife take the lead, the mingling of Ms. Tedeschi's warm, crisp vocals with Mr. Trucks's slide guitar sound evoking old-fashioned Bonnie Raitt." - The Wall Street Journal

"This sum is greater than its parts. All 11 of them." - Boston Herald

"...absolutely terrific!" - Philadelphia Daily News

"Revelator is a revelation. It is a divine truth, spoken from the mouths and hands of one damn big family band....It's continuously conversational, both musically and lyrically. And it's certainly worth talking about." - BLURT
