Nottingham's Grey Goes Down release new album + "So Easy" single, video

Grey Goes Down

From the ashes of Nottingham's trash-rockers New Art Riot was born the band we now know as Grey Goes Down.

An exciting post-grunge, alt-punk rock and roll fueled three-piece freight train kicking down the doors of all things that convention calls music. With their razor sharp lyrics and chain sawed guitars of sonic sound, the band is destined for all things glorious.

They have played across the length and breadth of this green and pleasant land including headline slots at the prestigious Birmingham HMV Institute, The Monto Water Rats Theatre in London and appearances at the now infamous Bulldog Bash, alongside acts such as Lostprophets, attracting the interest of Kerrang! writers and winning the magazines infamous Kerrang! unsigned competition along the way.

To say the band have cut their teeth in the bad lands of the UK live circuit is an understatement at the very least, they've cut, sharpened and are now baring them with the new album, 'Love Letters To Rock & Roll' and the lead single "So Easy".

"So Easy" is the lead track from the debut album 'Love Letters To Rock & Roll' which has been released through Self Made Records.

Grey Goes Down - So Easy video:

With a video directed by Lewis Cater (Paramore label mates Cobra Starship and the 'Dr Jekyll and Mr Famous' video for former Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz's band, Black Cards), "So Easy" is 3 minutes of powerfully melodic and emotionally raw music which is now seeing them gain airplay across the globe including the KGRG FM radio in Seattle (which championed such bands as Mother Love Bone, Soundgarden and Nirvana).

The Nick North Rock Show on CHMR 96.3FM in Canada and Phantom FM in Ireland as well as countless internet shows and podcasts have got behind the single.

"Grey Goes Down are one of the most self motivated, bizarre and interesting alternative punk rock bands ever" - The Fame Magazine

"Letting Go establishes the band's capability to compete with any of todays established indie acts" - Music Review Podcast

"I thought, ok, these guys are pretty good. Then their third song just blew me away" - Marco Soares Kerrang! (live review)
